The whole place has this quiet, almost residential feel that you don’t get in most Krakow hotels. I’m talking about the kind of morning silence where you actually hear birds instead of trams clattering by (which, let’s be real, can get old fast when you’re trying to sleep off yesterday’s pierogi and vodka). The garden part of the name isn’t just marketing speak either – there’s this lovely green space that makes you forget you’re in the city center. Well, sort of center… it’s positioned in a way where you’re close enough to walk to the main sights but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the hen party crowds stumbling around at 2 AM.

What really got me was how the staff actually seemed to care about the little things. Check-in was smooth, sure, but they also had these thoughtful touches – like actually knowing which room would be quietest if you mentioned you were a light sleeper, or suggesting the best time to visit Wawel Castle to avoid the tour bus rush. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable without trying too hard to be trendy. I mean, you’re not getting marble bathrooms or anything, but everything works properly (shocking concept, I know) and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase instead of living out of it for your entire stay. The WiFi was solid too, which matters more than people want to admit when you’re trying to figure out train schedules or restaurant reservations.

Here’s the thing about Krakow – parking can be an absolute nightmare, especially if you’re renting a car to explore the countryside. Villa Cherubin actually has this sorted, which saved me probably an hour of circling blocks and deciphering Polish parking signs. It’s those kinds of practical details that make a trip flow smoothly instead of feeling like you’re constantly solving little puzzles. The breakfast was decent too, nothing fancy but fresh and filling enough to fuel a day of walking around the Old Town. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted that sweet spot between being in the action but still being able to actually rest at the end of the day.

  Beautiful place, well-stocked kitchen (everything is there), lovely garden and even a friendly cat outside who enchanted us. If you are visiting Krakow with a car, I really can't recommend it enough – there is even free parking on the street. Friendly host, quiet neighbourhood – a perfect stay!

  Our familly was really flattered with the stay in this villa. There's lots of space in the house, the interrior is beautiful, the bedrooms were also very nice and the beds were comfortable and clean. If you are traveling by car, there was always a place to park it, they did not have a garage, but it really was not a problem, in the late evening or in early mornings, you can always find a free spot by the street to park your car. And there indeed was a kitty!!!! He roammed outside in the garden sometimes and was very friendly, trully lovely!! A lovely place to stay.
