Walking up to this 3-star gem, I was struck by how it just fits into the old town landscape – not trying too hard to stand out, but clearly well-maintained. The entrance has this understated elegance that immediately made me think, “okay, someone here actually cares about details.” Check-in was refreshingly smooth (none of that awkward waiting around while they figure out their system), and the staff seemed genuinely happy to see guests rather than just going through the motions.

I mean, for a 3-star property, the space is generous – you’re not playing Tetris with your luggage, which honestly happens more often than it should at this price point. The layout actually makes sense, with a proper sitting area that doesn’t feel like an afterthought crammed into a corner. What I loved most was how quiet it stays, even when the old town gets busy with evening foot traffic. You can hear life happening outside if you listen for it, but it’s more like a gentle hum than the chaos you might expect. The windows are clearly good quality – something you don’t always think about until you’re trying to sleep and realizing your room faces a busy street.

Being right in the old town means you can walk to pretty much everything that matters, but here’s the thing locals know – you’re positioned perfectly to slip down the quieter side streets when the main tourist areas get overwhelming during peak season. I found myself using the hotel as a home base, popping back between exploring to recharge (that sitting area I mentioned? Perfect for afternoon planning sessions with a coffee). The 9.6 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not about flashy amenities or marble everything, it’s about doing the fundamentals really, really well. Clean, comfortable, thoughtfully designed spaces with staff who seem to understand that small touches matter more than grand gestures. If you’re the type of traveler who values substance over Instagram moments, this place gets it right.

  The location, the host who was very helpful both before and during our trip. It is a short walk to the Stare Miasto or a very short tram ride which means the whole of Krakow is before you. Anna, the host was always on hand and contactable if you needed help with anything. I will return again soon, which I cannot say about many places.

  Stayed in the loft, it was quiet, clean and perfectly located for historical part of the city.
  Anna is a very nice hostess, allowed me to stay after check out time, which was very much appreciated on a cold rainy day!

  This is a lovely studio apartment, well-furnished and comfortable for two. It was spotlessly clean and they very kindly provided tea and coffee to use during our stay.
  The location is about 5 mins walk from the old town, but there is a tram stop very near and the excellent network gets you around Krakow really well. There are a couple of grocery shops, bakers, cafes and restaurants nearby. There is a very nice park about 50 metres away.
  Beds were comfortable with good quality bed linen.
  The arrangement for breakfast was very good as was the food at Café Fable, their coffee was excellent.
  Particular thank you to Anna who was really kind and helpful. She met us on arrival and showed us round and came to say goodbye when we left. She speaks excellent English and was happy to help when we had a slight problem.
  Liked it here very much and would be pleased to go back if I returned to Krakow.
