Cybulskiego Guest Rooms Overview
You know what struck me first about Cybulskiego Guest Rooms? The address itself – it’s tucked right on ul. Napoleona Cybulskiego, which honestly sounds intimidating until you realize you’re literally steps from Krakow’s Old Town magic, but without the tourist chaos that hits places closer to the Main Square. I mean, you can actually walk to Planty Park in maybe two minutes, and from there it’s an easy stroll to all the big sights, but at night you’re not dealing with the rowdy pub crawlers stumbling past your window.
The place has this quietly confident vibe – it’s a solid 4-star setup that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy stuff. What actually impressed me was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood. When I asked about getting to Kazimierz (because let’s be honest, everyone wants to hit up that district), they didn’t just point me toward the main tourist route – they mentioned this little shortcut through some side streets that saved me probably ten minutes each way. The rooms themselves feel more like staying at a well-off friend’s apartment than a typical hotel, if that makes sense. Good beds, proper blackout curtains (crucial if you’re dealing with jet lag), and the kind of bathroom where everything actually works properly. I stayed during late spring, and the whole building was pretty quiet – you get the sense that most guests are serious travelers rather than party groups.
What really won me over, though, was the morning routine. There’s something about having your coffee and planning your day when you’re this close to the action but still in a genuinely residential part of town. You’ll see locals heading to work, kids walking to school – it feels authentic in a way that hotels in the tourist bubble just can’t match. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the building itself has character without being ancient and creaky. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Krakow, but everything they do, they do well. Honestly, if you’re the type of traveler who wants easy access to Old Town sights but also values getting a proper night’s sleep and dealing with staff who treat you like a person rather than a room number, this place hits that sweet spot perfectly.
Exploring Krakow offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Poland’s medieval heart, from its magnificent Wawel Castle to its bustling Market Square and timeless cultural traditions.

Reviews of Cybulskiego Guest Rooms
Wonderful – Giulia from Italy – August 14, 2025 (9/10)
The room was lovely—modern, well-maintained, and spotless. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had everything we needed, as did the kitchenette. The location is excellent, just a few minutes from the city center. While it would have been convenient to use the affiliated private parking, there is also a very handy covered parking nearby. Breakfast was plentiful and offered something for every taste. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay immensely.
What could be improved: It would be even more convenient if morning check-in were available, especially for those passing through like us or visiting the city for only a single day, so as not to interrupt the sightseeing schedule.Great place, wonderful staff, convenient location, breakfast needs improvement – Martin from United Kingdom – July 24, 2025 (9/10)
Good size and close to main square. Clean.
What could be improved: Breakfast options were very limited. This is a very well run and lovely hotel in Krakow. – Ruth from Canada – July 23, 2025 (10/10)
This is the place to stay in Krakow!
We loved our stay here on every level. We stayed here twice and the owners let us store our bike boxes for two moths while we cycled in Poland.
When we returned we arrived early in the day to disassemble our bikes and were welcomed and greeted warmly by staff at reception. There are two many corporate feeling hotels and apartments these days, where you never even meet staff or owners. This hostel understands the importance of the human connection with kind and caring staff. and your hostel is run in a way that the staff.
The facilities are super with a tiny but functional kitchen in the room with table and chairs for eating. The hotel also offers a very affordable breakfast for people who want to meet other travellers and not cook themselves. They provide real coffee and filters for making it in the rooms. The rooms are bright and comfortable. We stayed in a bigger room on our first trip that was absolutely beautiful. On the second we chose a smaller one which was perfectly comfortable as well, and still had a little kitchen. They have recently installed an elevator.
The location is fantastic too! Just steps away from everything.Very Good – Christensen from Sweden – July 17, 2025 (8/10)
Really nice and big and comfortable room. Location was great.
What could be improved: Really bad breakfast. No fresh bread. Just small sices of dry toastbread.Brilliant for families – Vicky_belfast from United Kingdom – July 15, 2025 (10/10)

Breakfast and patio in my room. Easy to obtain room keys, elevator, A/C in the room. Didn’t have a washer, but the staff was very helpful.
brilliant stay next to the old town – Andrijauskaitė from United Kingdom – June 28, 2025 (10/10)
It is close to the old town, very clean apartments. it takes only 7 minutes to reach St Mary’s basilica.
We will book with them again when we come back to Krakow. – Tyna from United States – June 24, 2025 (10/10)
The location was within walking distance trains, buses, restaurants and activities we planned. The staff was great. When we had an issue with the air, they quickly worked it out. They had great suggestions and were very helpful.
Good location in the town centre, very big appartment, nice staff, excellent breakfast, good price. – Darko from Slovenia – May 26, 2025 (10/10)
What could be improved: Very crowded street for parking.
Wonderful! – Ruth from Canada – May 23, 2025 (10/10)
Wonderful place to stay in the heart of the city. Short walk to the main historic district. The staff were all great. They are storing our bike boxes while we cycle Poland which we greatly appreciate. The room was bright and large with everything we needed. Small kitchenette with microwave, hot plate , kettle and fridge. Would highly recommend.
