Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no lobby drama, just practical key exchange and someone who actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give solid recommendations. If you’re looking for a place that feels like you’re borrowing a friend’s apartment in the heart of the old city rather than staying in a sterile hotel box, this works beautifully. Just pack light – those charming old staircases aren’t elevator-friendly.
