The building itself has that classic Krakow charm where the entrance feels a bit hidden (typical for Old Town), but once you’re inside, it’s actually quite modern and well-maintained.

Honestly, staying here feels like you’ve got your own little corner of the Old Town without paying those insane hotel prices right on Rynek Główny. The apartments themselves are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over your suitcase every five minutes, and – this is important if you’re planning to explore – there’s proper space to spread out maps, charge devices, maybe even do a bit of laundry in the sink if needed. The kitchen setup is surprisingly functional too; I wasn’t expecting much, but you could actually make breakfast instead of paying €15 for coffee and pastries every morning. The 8.8 rating makes total sense when you consider you’re getting apartment-style space at basically hotel convenience levels.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, which is honestly rare for Old Town locations. Sure, you’ll hear some weekend revelry if you keep windows open (it’s Krakow, after all), but nothing like those places closer to the main drag where party groups stumble past until 3 AM. The street itself is residential enough that locals actually live there – you’ll see people walking their dogs in the morning, kids heading to school, that sort of thing. It gives you a better feel for actual Krakow life rather than just the tourist bubble. Plus, and this might sound silly, but the building has that solid, thick-walled construction that keeps things cool in summer and actually retains heat in winter, which matters more than you’d think when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. The three-star rating seems about right – you’re not getting luxury finishes or daily housekeeping, but everything works properly and it’s clean and comfortable. For the location and the space you get, it’s honestly one of those finds that makes you feel a bit smug about your travel planning skills.

  The surroundings are really lovely – centrally located but still peaceful. I appreciated the comfortable room access, as I could arrive whenever I wanted, with the key conveniently sent by email. When the weather turned cold, the room's heating worked perfectly. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the kitchenette was superb, even providing coffee and tea. Extremely helpful staff.
