DaVinci Radziwiłłowska Apartments Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to DaVinci Radziwiłłowska Apartments, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Kraków’s Old Town. The building sits right on ul. Radziwiłłowska, and I mean right in the thick of things — you’re literally steps from the main market square. It’s one of those three-star places that punches above its weight, honestly. The entrance has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream tourist trap, which I appreciated after seeing so many overly flashy places around the city center.

Location That Actually Matters

Here’s what I love about this spot — you can stumble out the front door and be at Cloth Hall in about three minutes. The location score of 9.5 isn’t just marketing fluff; it’s genuinely that good. I watched couples constantly walking hand-in-hand past the building toward the square, and you know what? They looked like they belonged there, not like they were frantically checking Google Maps every five seconds. The narrow cobblestone streets around here buzz with that perfect mix of locals grabbing coffee and visitors discovering hidden courtyards. Plus, having private parking available in this part of town is actually a minor miracle — most places make you hunt for street spots or walk from some distant garage.

The Apartment Experience

These aren’t your typical hotel rooms — they’re proper apartments with kitchenettes and separate living areas. Mine had this charming mix of modern amenities and old-world character that felt authentically Kraków without being kitschy. The windows looked out onto the street life below, which was entertaining during the day but surprisingly quiet at night (the thick walls help). I actually used the kitchen to make morning coffee with beans from a local roastery I’d discovered, which made the whole stay feel less touristy and more like I was living in the city for a few days.

Neighborhood Rhythms

What struck me most was how the area comes alive at different times of day. Early morning brings the bread delivery trucks and shop owners opening up, while evenings transform the streets into this atmospheric maze of warm light spilling from restaurant windows. The building is positioned perfectly to experience all of this — close enough to feel the energy but just off the main tourist thoroughfares so you’re not dealing with constant crowds right outside your door. I mean, you’ll hear the occasional late-night reveler, but that’s part of the Old Town charm, isn’t it?

Why Guests Love It

The combination of authentic location and apartment-style comfort really works here. Couples especially seem drawn to the romantic setting — I can see why they rated the location a perfect 10 for two-person trips. You get that intimate, local feeling without sacrificing the conveniences you want when you’re exploring a new city. The staff clearly understands that guests want to experience Kraków like residents, not just pass through as tourists. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out.

Reviews of DaVinci Radziwiłłowska Apartments

  • Luke from France (8/10)

It was so close to the city centre – literally right beside the main train station which gives you easy access to everything and the airport. Close to lots of nice bars and restaurants. The apartment was clean, cute (with the loft) and spacious!

  • Lech from Netherlands (8/10)

Perfect location. The accommodation looked a bit better on the photos though.

  • Madeleine from Netherlands (9/10)

The place was lovely and very well-equipped. The location was perfect to distance to the old town and the Jewish quarter. The communication with the host made everything easier.

  • Andrey from United States (8/10)

The location is great. Right near the old town and the train station, so both sight seeing and arriving/departing is easy.
The property is spacious for two people. The laundry machine was quite a welcome amenity for a traveler. There were even a couple of detergent pods provided. Thank you for that! Noise levels were tolerable for a European property in a stone building (neighbors and street could be faintly heard, so ear plugs can be useful). The street was reasonably quiet. There is a lot mentioned in the negatives below, but don't take that as a take down review. The combination of price and amenities makes it a reasonable property to stay in. It must be noted that the photos are dated at this point and are likely retouched. I understand that every property does this, so it's not an unexpected outcome, but still disappointing. I'd also say that the furniture arrangement in the photos is better than it actually is now. Not sure what prompted the rearrangement, but I'd recommend reverting to how it shows in the photos. It's just looks more open in the photos. We didn't care much for the loft beds, since there were only two of us. Larger group may have something to say about those. There's a small fridge, which I call a "dorm fridge", but it does have a freezer shelf. We didn't use the TV, so no comments there.
In general, I'd likely stay here again.

  • Marleen from South Africa (9/10)

In a quiet street with the Galleria Mall, bus station and railway station 5 min walk one side, and Old Town 10 min walk to the other side. The flat has plenty of windows, well stocked kitchen and washing machine. On the ground floor is a mini market. The owner is easily contactable and was kind enough to help with my luggage.
