I mean, there’s something to be said for being able to grab fresh bread from the bakery around the corner on Grodzka Street and actually have a proper place to enjoy it. The Wi-Fi was solid too – worked fine for video calls, which is always my litmus test.

Now, I’ll be straight with you: it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble bathrooms or concierge service. But what you’re getting is location, location, location (sorry, had to say it), plus the kind of local experience where you’re shopping at the same little grocery store as people who’ve lived here for decades. The Noclegi Renters team was pretty responsive when I had questions, and check-in was smooth – they actually met me at the apartment, which was way better than fumbling around with lockboxes. If you’re planning to visit during Easter or Christmas markets season, book early because these spots fill up fast, and honestly, you’ll want to be walking distance from Wawel Castle and all the main sites rather than dealing with trams and buses. It’s one of those places where you’ll find yourself taking the long way home just because wandering these medieval streets never gets old.

  What could be improved: The property is a bit care worn in places. Coffee table very battered. Chair wobbly. Lack of bedside lamps, only one in each room. No washing up bowl and no plug either so had to wash up in a pan. Some extra towels would be handy. Individual hand towels for those with long hair. Not much to make it deluxe.

  Nice apartment, in a great location, close to shops, bars, and fantastic restautrants. Very cold when we where there, but the apartment always nice and warm.

  Very good location, the flat was pretty nice with everything that we needed, it was also in the inner block so there was no noise.

  De locatie is top, slechts een kwartiertje wandelen van de markt en 25 minuten van de Joodse Ghetto. Mooi appartement. Netflix en HBO op de tv beviel ons wel goed 😁

  What could be improved: – De rechter slaapkamer heeft geen ramen dus het wordt daar erg warm.
  – De wasbak in de keuken heeft geen stop, we moesten afwassen in een grote pan.
  – het contact met de verhuurder verloopt erg moeizaam omdat ze niet op de berichten in booking.com reageren. Ze willen communiceren middels een chat website, maar omdat alles in het Pools is snapten wij daar niets van.
  – Parkeren gaat op straat op de beschikbare vrije plaatsen en met de parkeermeter. Het was soms even zoeken, maar in de buurt is altijd wel een plekje te vinden.
  – De wifi is aan de trage kant.
  – We hadden 2 rollen wc papier voor 6 dagen met 4 personen. Hier hadden wel wat meer rollen gekund.
  -We moesten het met 1 handdoek per persoon voor 6 dagen doen. Ook hier hadden best een paar handdoeken extra gekund.
  – Er was geen afwasborstel, geen theedoek en heen handdoek in de keuken aanwezig.
