You know what struck me first about this place? The name is honestly a mouthful – “Deluxe Industrial Apartment free Parking, Swimming Pool, Sauna & Gym” – but it’s actually pretty accurate about what you’re getting. I mean, it’s right there on Kościuszki Street, which if you know Kraków at all, puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the Old Town but far enough out that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM.

The industrial vibe is real – exposed brick, high ceilings, that whole converted warehouse aesthetic that could go really wrong but somehow works here. What I loved is that they didn’t try to hide the building’s character with generic hotel decor. The apartment I stayed in had these huge windows that actually open (revolutionary concept, I know) and the kitchen was properly equipped, not just some sad mini-fridge situation. The free parking thing is huge if you’re driving – anyone who’s tried to park in Kraków’s center knows it’s basically a blood sport, so having your own guaranteed spot is worth its weight in złoty.

Honestly, the amenities surprised me. The pool isn’t massive, but it’s clean and rarely crowded when I used it around 8 AM. The sauna gets properly hot (some hotel saunas are basically warm closets), and the gym has actual weights, not just three treadmills from 1995. I spent a fair bit of time in the common areas actually – there’s this lounge space that gets great afternoon light, perfect for working on your laptop or just planning your next day’s wandering. The building can get a bit echo-y with footsteps in the hallways, especially if you’re trying to sleep early, but it’s not terrible. Check-in was smooth too, though the key card system is a little finicky – just make sure to hold it against the reader for a full second or you’ll be standing there like an idiot swiping repeatedly (learned that one the hard way).

What really sells this place for me is the location flexibility. You can walk to Wawel Castle in about 15 minutes, hit up Kazimierz for dinner and drinks, but you’re also close to the tram stops that’ll take you anywhere else in the city. Plus, there’s a decent grocery store just a few blocks away on Dietla Street, which matters when you’ve got a proper kitchen and want to grab some Polish beer and pierogi to enjoy at home. The 9.6 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be a luxury palace, but it nails what it’s going for: a comfortable, well-equipped base that lets you actually live in Kraków for a few days instead of just passing through.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Krakow at least two months ahead for major events like cultural festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near Market Square.

  Okos otthon, modern technikával. Nagy belmagasság, nagy terek, a tapéta és a falfestés lenyűgöző. A fedett terasz reggeli kávézáshoz ideális, hallod a villamost, miközben próbálsz ébredezni az előző napi fárasztó Krakkó túra után. A francia ágyak kényelmesek, még a kanapéágy kihúzva is 10/10 pontos! Valóban nem volt függöny az ablakon, de egyáltalán nem hiányzott, mert a belső rolót olyan magasra húzhatod, ahogy akarod: vagy teljes sötét, vagy besüt a nap reggel a felső részen.
