Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Dietla 32 Residence? It’s actually in this sweet spot that most visitors don’t even realize exists – tucked on Dietla Street where you’re basically equidistant from Krakow’s Main Square and the trendy Kazimierz quarter. I mean, you can literally walk to the cloth hall in about eight minutes, but you’re also just a quick stroll from all those cool Jewish quarter cafes and bars without being stuck in the middle of tourist chaos.
The building itself has that understated Polish charm – nothing flashy, which honestly works in its favor. It’s a 3-star place, and they’re not trying to pretend otherwise, but the rooms are clean and well-maintained with decent-sized windows that actually open (trust me, this matters in summer). The neighborhood gets surprisingly quiet at night, especially considering you’re so close to everything. I stayed there during shoulder season and barely heard any street noise, though I imagine it picks up when the university students are back in full swing. Check-in was straightforward – the staff speaks solid English and they’re genuinely helpful about restaurant recommendations, not just the touristy spots everyone suggests.
Here’s what I really appreciated: the location means you can duck back to your room easily if you need a break from sightseeing, but you’re also perfectly positioned to explore both sides of Krakow’s personality. Want pierogi and traditional Polish atmosphere? Head toward the square. Craving craft cocktails and vintage shops? Kazimierz is right there. The tram stops nearby if you want to venture further out – like to Nowa Huta or the salt mines – and there’s actually decent parking in the area if you’re driving (though honestly, you won’t need a car much). The 7.3 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow you away with luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want, especially when you’re spending most of your time exploring one of Europe’s most beautiful cities anyway.

We stayed here for 1 week during our visit to krakow – we had then extended our trip for 2 weeks, the owner of the properly was happy to pay cash at a slightly discounted rate for the second week but we soon changed our minds.
Very modern – bed was big and comfy – prime location – balcony with a good street view (VERY noisy)Petros from Greece (7/10)
Excellent location next to the old town and Kazimierz district.
Although it is on the ground floor, we could not hear anything from the road.Patryk from France (6/10)
-The location is great, right between the old town and Kazimierz district, the two areas where you will hang out the most
– The woman from the desk is really nice, polite, pro and helpful. She is really reactive by message and welcoming, and she try her best to help you.
– The price (less than 60€ for two nights offseason) but then you know why it's cheap …..(check the cons colomn)Stephen from United Kingdom (7/10)
The location is perfect. Close to the square literally 5 minute walk.
