You know what caught me off guard about Długa 14? The moment you step inside, you actually forget you’re in what’s technically a 3-star place. I mean, the building itself has that old Krakow charm – thick walls, high ceilings, the kind of character you can’t fake in newer hotels. It sits right on Długa street, which honestly is perfect because you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Main Square, but far enough that you won’t hear the horse carriages clattering by at 6 AM.

The apartments (and they really are proper apartments, not just hotel rooms with a mini-fridge) feel like someone’s stylish friend let you crash at their place. Clean lines, modern kitchens that actually work – I made coffee there every morning instead of hunting down cafes, which saved me a fortune. The Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes like some places in Old Town, and the heating… well, let’s just say January in Krakow is no joke, but I was perfectly comfortable. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You’d think being in the heart of the old city would mean constant noise, but Długa street settles down beautifully after the day tourists head back to their tour buses.

Here’s the thing that bumped this place up to an 8.5 for me – it’s those little details that show someone actually thought about how people live, not just sleep. Proper hangers in the closets, a washing machine (game-changer for longer stays), and enough electrical outlets that you don’t have to choose between charging your phone and using a hair dryer. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that “please wait while we find your reservation” dance. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the shower pressure was fantastic. After walking around cobblestones all day, that matters more than you’d think. The only minor thing I’d mention is that some of the street-facing rooms can get a bit of noise during the day, but honestly, that’s just city life. If you’re the type who wants to be right in the thick of historic Krakow without paying luxury hotel prices, this place gets it right.

  First of all the location was amazing. Literally it is 10/10. You can walk to the shopping mall (train station-bus station) and it’s only like 10-15 minutes. And you can go to the city center in 5 minutes walking. The room was fully equipped and had everything we wanted and needed. It was warm inside and pleasant.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is located in the 4th floor and there is not an elevator. When you are in the procedure of booking it, it doesn’t says anything about having or not having an elevator. It would be good if it was written in the description transparently.

  Comfortable bed and bathroom. Fresh and clean bed linen and towels.
  I didn't use the kitchen, but it seems that it is well equipped.
  
  What could be improved: Only one pillow is not enough. Was no soap in dispensers. Sockets for washing machine didn't work, but issue has been fixed with electric extension. Also, it would be nice to have paper towels.

  Суперово розташований будинок, дуже близько до центру. Апартаменти дужееее гарні, все зручне і комфортне та все необхідне було в кімнатах. Дуже задоволені і обов'язково забронюємо ще раз! 🥰
