Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about DOMINGO? It’s tucked away on Świętej Gertrudy, which honestly feels like you’ve discovered some hidden corner of Kraków’s Old Town that the tour groups haven’t quite figured out yet. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Main Square, but there’s this quieter, more residential vibe that makes you feel like you’re actually living in the city rather than just passing through.
The rooms are what I’d call elegantly simple – not trying too hard, but they’ve got this clean, contemporary feel that works perfectly against those old Kraków building bones. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are modern without being sterile. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to keep things quiet despite being so central – you get the occasional late-night chatter from people walking back from Kazimierz, but it’s more charming than disruptive. The staff genuinely seems to know their stuff about the neighborhood too, which is refreshing. They pointed me toward this little coffee spot on Grodzka that I never would’ve found otherwise.
Here’s the thing about the location that you won’t really grasp until you’re there – you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from Floriańska Street that you avoid the worst of the tourist chaos. Wawel Castle is basically a pleasant fifteen-minute stroll, and if you’re into the Jewish Quarter scene in Kazimierz, it’s an easy walk across the river. Parking can be tricky (welcome to any European old town), but they’ll sort you out with advice about the nearby lots. The 8.3 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises. For a 3-star place, it punches above its weight, especially if you value location and that authentic neighborhood feel over fancy amenities. I’d definitely stay here again, particularly in shoulder season when Kraków hits that perfect sweet spot of fewer crowds but all the charm.
Apartments in Krakow provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Polish markets and cook with regional Galician specialties.

Wonderful – Robert from United Kingdom – July 7, 2025 (9/10)
Location was excellent and we really appreciated the fridge so we could store food in preparation for day trips
What could be improved: Good do with a better fan! It was 35 degrees and we were pretty hot at night. But it was a heat wave so assume that’s a one off.Very Good – Damara from Gibraltar – February 13, 2025 (8/10)
The bed was very comfortable. The property managers were helpful and accommodating when contacted. The location was close to everything, and we were able to easily walk everywhere. Multiple cafés, supermarkets, and bakery's on the same street.
What could be improved: The walls are very thin but not a deal breaker. The room could use a little update, maybe, but it was good value for money.Very Good – Christine from United Kingdom – December 7, 2024 (8/10)
Location was perfect for short stay exploring the city.
What could be improved: Room a little small but fine for a short stay and everything providedGreat location – Kyle from Ireland – December 6, 2024 (7/10)
Comfy beds. Clean bathroom. Great location
What could be improved: Small roomGreat Location – Lee from United Kingdom – October 21, 2024 (9/10)
Good, clean apartment in a great location.
Comfortable bed, and good amenities.
Fairly small, but all you need for sleeping, showering, getting ready, etc.
The main square is just a 5-10 minutes walk away, and easy access to the Jewish quarter as well.
Good communication beforehand from the hosts, which was helpful.
Would recommend if staying in Krackow.Great choice for solo, or two person stay – Georgios from Greece – April 15, 2024 (9/10)
The property was very clean, easily accessible, next to the old town (7 min walk through a beautiful park) and a great value for money
Great mini apartment in a great old town location – Jenna from United Kingdom – March 15, 2024 (9/10)
Good location, good check-in arrangements (keypad). Helpful staff over the phone who were able to remotely allow me early access to the room via pin-code, having arrived 45 mins before the official check-in. Quiet, clean, well-equipped. Right across the road from the Planty (park-land border of the Old Town). 5-6 mins on foot to the centre of the Old Town square, and also close by to Kazimierz district. Very easy access to several tram stops/lines for going further afield.
What could be improved: Radiator wouldn’t turn off (room was a little too hot).Wonderful – Georgios from Greece – March 8, 2024 (9/10)
The location is great, it's near the old town and kazimierz, too. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Also, there's a password to get in, so you don't have to worry forgetting your keys.
What could be improved: The only thing I didn't like is that the toilet bin was small and no one bothered to change the bag, but there wasn't any other bag either, to change it myself.Wonderful – Jane from United Kingdom – March 17, 2023 (9/10)
Central location, nearby to all facilities and the Old Town. Ease of checking in and out.
What could be improved: Would've like bag storage at property.Really close the City center – Ricardo from Portugal – March 8, 2023 (9/10)
Really near the City center. Everything was very clean.
