The apartment sits right on Świętego Wawrzyńca, which is this perfect little street that’s actually in Old Town but somehow manages to feel residential rather than touristy. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the main square, but when you step outside in the morning, you’re not immediately swallowed by crowds of people taking selfies with pigeons.

The parking situation alone makes this place worth considering – and I say this as someone who’s spent way too many hours circling Krakow’s medieval streets looking for a spot that won’t cost me a kidney. They’ve got their own spaces, which in this part of town is basically like finding buried treasure. The building itself has that old Krakow character (thick walls, high ceilings, the kind of windows that actually open properly), but the apartment inside feels genuinely modern without being sterile. The views they mention? Well, depending on which windows you’re looking out of, you’ll either see red rooftops stretching toward Wawel Castle or catch glimpses of the Planty park ring. Nothing Instagram-famous, but the kind of scenery that makes you want to drink coffee by the window for way longer than necessary.

What really sold me on the place was how quiet it gets at night – Old Town can be surprisingly loud with all the bar crawls and late-night revelry, but this street settles down after the dinner crowds head home. The apartment feels spacious too, not like those cramped “historic charm” places where you’re constantly bumping into furniture. I particularly appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with the medieval theme decorating – it’s just a comfortable, well-equipped space that happens to be surrounded by 700-year-old architecture. The kitchen actually works if you want to grab groceries from the Hala Targowa market (about a ten-minute walk), and there’s enough room to spread out if you’re staying more than a couple nights. Honestly, with a 9.1 rating, I was expecting to find some obvious flaw that other guests were overlooking, but the worst thing I can say is that the shower pressure could be stronger. For a four-star place in this location with parking included, that’s pretty much nitpicking.

  Location is great . Accommodation is spacious and really clean .
  
  What could be improved: We’ve stayed here 4 times now. It’s a really lovely apartment but there have been some cut backs . The crockery is cheap and really chipped which isn’t a great first impression. No cloths to wipe up with or washing up sponge or tea towels. The hand soap is cheap and watery. The TV has no Netflix and the music system has been removed . For £150 a night these small things make a difference .

  Great location of the apartment with many restaurants within a few minutes walk from the old town. The apartment is modern, beautiful and spotlessly clean. Fully equipped with two nice terraces. The bedrooms are really comfortable and quiet, equipped with great bathrooms. The team is very responsive. Superb address. I highly recommend.

  A lovely flat, spacious, clean and comfortable. 10 minutes walk from the main square. Close to a good restaurant and bar area.
  
  What could be improved: I had been sent location instructions but I could not open them on my phone, the apartment was difficult to find so it was a bit of luck that we managed to get to the right place as the number given on the street is hidden behind the main buildings. I had to forward the email to my friend who managed to open it on her tablet and then we knew which codes belonged to which gate, key safe and front door.
  A tea towel would have been good. One of the bedside lights in the main bedroom did not work.

  I loved how spacious the apartment was — two terraces were a real treat in the summer heat, we loved lounging there in the evenings.
  
  What could be improved: It was a minor issue, but still — we came with two 5-year olds, it would be great if the apartment was equipped with a step stool to reach the sink, as well as a potty or a toilet seat for kids.
