Hotel Description
You know what really surprised me about this place? It’s one of those rare finds where the photos actually undersell it. I mean, when I saw “Elegant Two-Room Apartment” in the listing, I was expecting something decent but fairly standard – turns out this spot has serious character. The moment you walk in, there’s this airy feeling that comes from having actual separate rooms (not just a studio with a partition wall, thank god), and honestly, the balcony situation is what sold me completely.
The location is pretty much perfect if you’re the type who wants to walk everywhere but still sleep peacefully at night. You’re right in the thick of things without dealing with the street-level chaos – I could hear the city humming below but never felt like I was camping out above a nightclub. The balcony faces away from the main drag, so mornings out there with coffee became my little ritual. There’s something about having that outdoor space in a city center that makes the whole experience feel less rushed, you know? I actually found myself planning my days from out there instead of immediately rushing off to see everything. The apartment itself feels thoughtfully put together – whoever designed this place actually considered how people move through spaces. The kitchen isn’t cramped into a corner as an afterthought, and there’s real counter space to work with. I made breakfast most mornings (partly because the local café prices were brutal, but also because I could). The bedroom is separated enough that if you’re traveling with someone who snores or stays up scrolling their phone, you won’t want to smother them with a pillow.
What really impressed me was the attention to small stuff that most places completely ignore. Good water pressure, blinds that actually block light, enough outlets near the bed, decent wifi that didn’t cut out every twenty minutes. The kind of things you only notice when they’re missing, but here they just worked. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no standing around a lobby for thirty minutes while they “prepare your room.” I will say the building itself is older, so if you’re expecting some ultra-modern glass tower experience, this isn’t that. But honestly? The character of an older building with updated interiors feels way more authentic than those cookie-cutter hotel chains. Just be aware that older buildings sometimes mean quirks – the elevator is tiny and the hallways have that particular European narrow-ness to them. Nothing deal-breaking, just reality. For what it’s worth, I’d absolutely stay here again, and I’m pretty picky about these things.
