The name sounds like someone just mashed their keyboard, but honestly, this loft-style place has way more character than I expected from a 3-star spot. I mean, that 9.0 rating isn’t just random numbers – there’s something genuinely cool happening here that bigger chain hotels completely miss.

The whole LoftAffair Collection thing actually makes sense once you walk in. These aren’t your typical cramped hotel boxes with beige everything. The ceilings are properly high, and there’s this industrial-meets-cozy vibe that feels more like crashing at your artsy friend’s converted warehouse apartment than staying at a hotel. The exposed brick (where they have it) doesn’t feel forced, and the lighting – well, they actually thought about it instead of just slapping fluorescents everywhere. I spent way too much time just sitting in the common area because it felt like somewhere I’d actually want to hang out, not just pass through to get to an elevator.

What really sold me though was all the small stuff that shows someone who runs this place actually stays in hotels themselves. The shower pressure is legit strong – none of that sad trickle you get at fancy places that spent all their money on marble. The walls are thick enough that you’re not listening to your neighbor’s entire phone conversation at 11 PM. And honestly, the check-in felt more like meeting the owner of a cool B&B than dealing with some corporate front desk script. They knew the neighborhood well enough to give me actual recommendations, not just point me toward the tourist trap restaurant that probably gives them kickbacks. The whole setup just feels more… real, I guess? Like they’re not trying to be something they’re not, just doing the loft hotel thing really well without charging you boutique hotel prices for it.
