Farmona Hotel Business & SPA Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to the Farmona Hotel Business & SPA on Jugowicka, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place tucked away in Łagiewniki. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s one of those hotels where the rating doesn’t tell the whole story (8.6 out of 10 speaks volumes, trust me).
The location is honestly pretty clever – you’re far enough from Krakow’s tourist madness to actually get some peace, but close enough that a quick tram ride gets you to the Old Town without breaking a sweat. Łagiewniki itself is this quiet residential area that most tourists skip entirely, which means you’ll actually see how regular Krakovians live. Plus, if you’re into the religious tourism thing, the Divine Mercy Sanctuary is practically next door. The hotel itself sits on this tree-lined street where you can actually hear birds in the morning instead of tour groups – imagine that.
What really got me was how they’ve nailed the whole business-meets-relaxation vibe without feeling corporate or sterile. The spa facilities are genuinely nice (not just a sad sauna in the basement like some places), and I mean, after walking around Krakow’s cobblestones all day, that’s exactly what your feet are begging for. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but they’ve got that Polish attention to detail that you notice in little things like actually good pillows and curtains that block out light properly. Parking was a breeze too, which if you’ve ever tried to park in central Krakow, you’ll appreciate why that matters.
The staff here actually seem to care about what they’re doing, which honestly isn’t something I can say about every hotel in Poland. They’ll give you real recommendations, not just point you toward the most touristy spots. Breakfast was solid – nothing Instagram-worthy, but proper food that fills you up for a day of sightseeing. The whole place has this relaxed efficiency that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere locals might actually choose for a weekend getaway, not just another tourist processing center. For what you pay, especially compared to what you’d shell out for something comparable closer to the Market Square, it’s actually a pretty smart choice.

The hotel is great for a calm and quite rest. The room is clean and comfortable, + uncludes body lotions which is great addition.
Breakfast is not large, but still a good choice of food.
What could be improved: Not for us personally, as we were with a car. But it seemed like without the car the hotel is not that suitable for a lesure, especially if you are planning to use public transport.
So be careful of where and how you are planning to travel.Wonderful – Adrian from Romania – April 27, 2025 (9/10)
Nice facility, nice staff, tasty breakfast.
What could be improved: The bad soundproof of the rooms. We had to wake up early in the moning along with other clients due to the loud noise of their voices (they were just speaking normal to each other).Exceptional – Maksym from Ukraine – January 5, 2025 (10/10)

Exceptional – Mariia from Ukraine – November 29, 2024 (10/10)
Great apartment, tasty breakfast and perfect proximity to both Sanctuariums (but not the city center)
Very Good – Mr from Lithuania – October 25, 2024 (8/10)
There is free parking.
Comfortable bed, large room with air conditioning.
What could be improved: There is no electricity by the bed to charge the phone.
Breakfast that does not match the level of the hotel, is modest and of insufficient quality.Exceptional – Bogdan from Romania – October 15, 2024 (10/10)
The size of the room, balcony, parking, quiet area, beds, shower all good. Friendly reception. Very good breakfast. There’s also a shopping center nearby. We uber-ed to the old city center and the cost was ok. Expect a 20 min ride, but this because there is traffic and thankfully you’re not driving :))
What could be improved: All was good. Looks retro but is renovated. Hotel is really cool. You get a spy movie vibe. With marble and stuff.Business trip in Krakow – David from France – September 27, 2024 (10/10)
Great area and quiet place. Nice and welcoming staff.
Choice for breakfast and dinner were tasty.
Room was comfortable and equipment were good and well maintained.
Special mention for advices on bar for a good regional vodka.
What could be improved: NothingOk – George from Romania – September 4, 2024 (9/10)
Rooms are nice and clean. There is a big parking and a playing ground in front oh the hotel.
What could be improved: Probably the ratio between the price and what you get is a little bit to high. But this is everyone's choise.
