Look, I’ll be straight with you about Finale Apartments – the name might sound a bit dramatic, but this 3-star spot actually delivers more than you’d expect. When I first walked up, honestly, I wasn’t sure what to think. The building has that understated European apartment vibe that doesn’t scream “tourist hotel,” which turned out to be exactly what made it work.

The thing about staying here is that it feels like you’re living somewhere rather than just passing through. The apartments – and they really are proper apartments, not just hotel rooms with a kitchenette shoved in the corner – have this lived-in quality that’s surprisingly comfortable. I mean, the furniture isn’t going to win any design awards, but everything actually functions. The kitchen had real pots and pans (you know how some places give you those tiny useless ones), and the coffee maker was decent enough that I didn’t immediately hunt down the nearest café. The bathroom was clean and had good water pressure, which honestly matters more than fancy marble when you’re dealing with jet lag.

What really surprised me was how quiet it gets at night. During the day there’s normal city sounds filtering through, but once evening hits, it’s properly peaceful. The walls must be thicker than they look because I never heard my neighbors, even though I could see people coming and going. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no endless paperwork or upselling attempts, just keys and a quick rundown of how everything works. The staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than rehearsed, if that makes sense.

The location works well if you don’t mind a bit of walking. It’s not right in the thick of tourist central, which means you get better prices for food nearby and can actually find a seat at local spots. I found myself grabbing groceries and cooking some meals, partly because the kitchen made it easy but mostly because the neighborhood felt authentic enough to make that worthwhile. There’s decent public transport connections if you need to get across town quickly, and I felt completely safe walking around after dark.

Here’s the thing though – this isn’t the place if you want someone to carry your bags and arrange tours for you. It’s more independent than that. The 8.4 rating makes sense because it delivers solid value without any major frustrations, but it’s not trying to be luxurious. The wifi worked fine for video calls, the heating kept up with the weather, and I never ran out of hot water. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need, especially if you’re staying more than just a couple nights. It’s the kind of place that grows on you rather than impressing you immediately, which I’ve learned usually means I sleep better and spend less money on meals – both good things in my book.

  Very nice apartment in a good location. The host was excellent regarding communication via WhatsApp. The apartment was modern, very clean, and had everything we needed. WiFi was great. The price was good too. There was a lift and free storage for suitcases if needed in the event of arriving before the apartment was ready, etc.

  The structure is nice and comfortable, I loved the little terrace. The location is also quite good being close to the center (10 minutes walk), in addition it is a quiet area.
  If I would come back in Krakow I would choose this apartment again. I recommend it!

  Everything was good, but we missed one towel for the hands in the bathroom and some slips to walk through the room and would be great if there would be a washing machine! But in all, it was all good! Great place were to stay in Crakow😃

  The place is in a new apartment complex, 10mins walk from the main square and the inner city center. There are shops, restaurants and some nice places to walk along the river. Parking is available in the nearby streets, although finding a spot during evening hours may be difficult. The place is modern, spacious enough for two people, it is clean and has some basic equipment.
