You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Finger Guest Rooms – honestly, the name had me a bit curious, and with it being a 3-star place, I figured it’d be pretty standard. But sometimes those unassuming spots end up surprising you, and this one definitely did.

The thing about this place is that it feels like someone actually thought about what travelers need, not just what looks good in photos. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but everything works properly, which is honestly more than I can say for some pricier places I’ve stayed. The beds are decent (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathrooms have good water pressure, which matters more than you’d think after a long day of exploring. What really got me though was how quiet it stays at night. I mean, you expect some noise at most hotels, but the walls here seem thick enough that you’re not hearing every conversation from the hallway or the TV next door.

The staff actually knows what’s going on around the area too, which is refreshing. When I asked about getting around, the front desk person gave me real directions – not just “take a taxi everywhere” like you get at some places. They knew which streets to avoid during rush hour and had these little insider tips about timing that you only get from people who live there. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises or hidden fees that suddenly appear. The whole place has this relaxed vibe where they’re helpful without being overly eager, if that makes sense. Parking was straightforward too – there’s space, and you don’t have to play musical chairs with your car every morning. It’s not the kind of place that’s going to wow you with marble lobbies or fancy amenities, but honestly? Sometimes you just want a solid, reliable spot where everything works and the price doesn’t make you wince. That 8.2 rating feels about right – it’s well above average because they do the basics really well, not because they’re trying to be something they’re not.

  Nice people. Easy walk from train station. Pleasant room with little balcony opened on green area between buildings and lady fed pigeons from her balcony.

  Perfect location 5 min away from the central station and 10 min from the old town. Very warm room and a powerful hot shower were of great comfort these cold winter days.

  It is a spacious room with a nice balcony and a well-heated bathroom right close to the city center. The WiFi connection was perfect, it is definitely sufficient for movie streaming. The parking space is very convenient and affordable. The hosts are very nice, friendly, approachable, and ready to cooperate.

  The room was a nice size with a balcony, fridge, wifi and kettle. Good facilities. Received communication in due time and check in was easy. Nice check out time of eleven! Towels provided and tea and coffee provided. Great safe location near station and old town.
