Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Krakow, and Flav Apartment honestly surprised me in the best way. You know how sometimes you book something and cross your fingers it’ll match the photos? Well, this actually delivered – and then some. It’s tucked away on Rzeźnicza street in Grzegórzki, which I mean, sounds intimidating if you don’t speak Polish, but it’s basically this quietly hip neighborhood that’s close enough to Old Town without the tourist chaos. You can walk to the main square in about fifteen minutes, but here’s the thing – you’re far enough out that you’re not dealing with drunk bachelor parties stumbling past your window at 3 AM.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish friend let you crash at their place. I’m talking actual personality in the design, not that generic minimalist hotel vibe that makes you feel like you’re living in an IKEA catalog. The kitchen – and this matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights – actually has everything you need. Sharp knives, decent coffee setup, enough counter space to spread out. The bed was one of those where you sink in just right, not too soft but definitely not rock hard. What really got me was the attention to small details… good water pressure in the shower (seriously underrated), blackout curtains that actually block light, and they’d stocked the place with local coffee beans from this roastery on Józefa street.

Parking’s not a nightmare either, which honestly, if you’ve driven in Krakow’s Old Town, you know that’s saying something. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel – you’ve got the morning dog walkers, the corner bakery where the locals grab their bread (try the rye, it’s incredible), and this little bar called Drukarnia that stays open late if you need a nightcap. The tram connections are solid too – you can hop on line 3 or 24 and be pretty much anywhere in the city without dealing with taxi drivers who suddenly forget how to speak English when the meter starts running. I stayed there during shoulder season in October, so I can’t speak to summer crowds, but the street stayed pretty quiet even on weekends. The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where everything just works without feeling fancy or pretentious about it.

  I spent a week in the apartment with my family and we didn't miss anything.
  Apartment is beautifully designed and very well equipped (kitchen with good coffee machine, washing machine, iron, safe). There is also a lot of storage space.
  Underground parking nearby is an additional plus. 10/10!

  The Apartment is well located. A big shopping center is nearby. The historical quater Kazimerz with lots of restaurants could be reached by foot. I was afraid of the noise from the street in the bedroom, but it was quite. Next time we’ll definitely choose this apartment again.

  The apartment was first class, carefully designed, very spacious, stylish and well equipped. Although the bed was stiff, it was still good even for a light sleeper. Separate air conditioner in both bedroom and kitchen. There could be a choice of pillows in addition to one size, because a giant pillow is not suitable for everyone. The kitchen is very well equipped. We liked almost everything about the apartment and would rent it again. My expectations were high and yet the apartment exceeded them. I hope that the owner will put up and rent more apartments, because there would be demand for them and I would be the first in line.
  
  What could be improved: It is difficult to make the humidity in the bathroom evaporate from the apartment with current equipment. Even though there is a loud device in the bathroom, the moisture does not evaporate sufficiently and the laundry does not dry. I would add at least a quick dryer to the household. Two rolls of toilet paper are not enough for three people for a week's stay. Upon arrival, we also get paper towels, laundry detergent and garbage bags.

  Big and clean apartment. Directly behind the Kazimierz Gallery. Everything you needed was provided. Booked an extra parking space nearby without any problems. Very kind staff.

  This flat is well appointment and tastefully decorated. We were pessimistic given experiences in the past (where flats in person do not meet the quality in picture), but this place was even better in person! We are already looking forward to staying here again and the host is incredibly responsive. Also, great location!
