The location is absolutely killer if you want to be right in the thick of Krakow’s Old Town without paying those crazy hotel prices you see closer to the main square.

I mean, you’re literally steps from the actual Florianska Gate – that medieval tower everyone walks through to get into the old city. The apartments sit on one of those gorgeous cobblestone streets where you can hear the clip-clop of horse carriages during the day (which is charming until about 7 AM, just so you know). But here’s the thing that really got me – these aren’t your typical cramped European city apartments. The spaces actually feel luxurious, with high ceilings and these beautiful restored details that remind you you’re staying in a building with some serious history. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, which saved me a fortune since eating out in that tourist zone gets expensive fast.

What I loved most was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood – not just the obvious tourist stuff, but like, where to grab the best zapiekanka on Grodzka Street at midnight, or which entrance to use for Wawel Castle when the main gates are packed with tour groups. The 8.7 rating makes total sense because while it’s not trying to be some five-star palace, everything just works really well. The WiFi is solid (crucial for me), the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are modern without feeling sterile. There’s this perfect balance of old-world charm and actually functioning like a place where real people stay, not just take Instagram photos. I’d definitely book here again – especially in shoulder season when you can walk to all the main sights but still feel like you’re experiencing Krakow the way locals do, from a quiet street where you can actually hear yourself think.

  The location in the old town really suited us, the apartment was clean, well laid out with fresh decor. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable. There was a small amount of noise at night due to its central location but this did not cause us any issues.
