You know what caught me off guard about Four Stories Apartments? The name makes it sound like some generic corporate place, but honestly, this feels more like staying in a really well-designed local apartment that someone actually cares about. It’s tucked right on Krasinskiego – and I mean right on the main avenue, which sounds like it’d be noisy but somehow isn’t terrible once you’re inside.

The Zwierzyniec district is one of those areas where you feel like you’re getting the real Krakow without all the tourist chaos. I actually walked to the Old Town from here a few times (maybe 20 minutes if you don’t mind the stroll), but what I really loved was having the Vistula river practically at your doorstep. There’s this nice walking path along the water that locals use for their morning jogs – I’d grab coffee and just sit by the river before the day got crazy. The building itself has character without being stuffy about it, you know? Four stars feels about right, though I’ve stayed in some four-star places that felt way more corporate and soulless than this.

What really works here is that it strikes this balance between having your own space and not feeling isolated. The apartments are properly equipped – I mean, you can actually cook a decent meal if you want to save some zloty, and the kitchen has real pots and pans, not those tiny tourist things that barely work. The whole setup feels like someone thought through what travelers actually need rather than just checking boxes. Sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, and the 7.7 rating probably reflects that it’s solid rather than spectacular. But honestly? Sometimes solid is exactly what you want. The area gets quiet at night, parking isn’t a nightmare if you’re driving, and you’re close enough to everything that matters without being in the thick of the Old Town crowds. Plus there’s something nice about staying in a neighborhood where you see the same café owner every morning and start to feel like less of a tourist, even if it’s just for a few days.

  The apartment was very cozy and stylish, with a western-style kitchen separated from the bedroom by a see-thru panel. It was just a short walk from Wawel Castle, and I highly recommend it – no downsides!

  Position is right next to 300 bus that takes you in and out of the city from/to Airport

  Very nice renovated studio with full kitchen (nespresso coffee) and bathroom. We love the space, also the location, only 10 min or less walking to the Castle and dragón of wawel, direct acces to public transport to the airport. Next to supermarket.
  Great stay in Kraków.
  
  What could be improved: Tv does not work.
  The comunication, I sent a few message to the host, about our arriving time (midnight), and the same day because our fly was delated, but never answered any of them, only the automatic message. We arrived almost 2 am, and we followed the instruction, of the self checking, so everything was ok, good on us.

  a lovely warm apartment. A good bathroom and a well appointed kitchenette. A great location for visiting the castle and the river walks. A good selection of bars and restaurants available nearby if you want to stay local. Only 10-15 minute stroll to the main square in the Old Town. Close to bus and tram stops.
  
  What could be improved: If you are a light sleeper, traffic noise might irritate you.

  felt really nice and homey, the location was great for getting around, easy to walk to old town and lots of public transport options.
  
  What could be improved: The bed was really soft, which I’m not use to. Felt very comfortable and cozy, but unfortunately made my back sore. This really comes down to personal preference though and what I’m use to.
  Also at no fault of the venue, there were road works at the junction, which did limit street access and places to cross the street. unfortunate timing in this case.

  The space looks basically exactly like the pictures. It's very elegant and feels very private. There's a little self catering kitchen if you don't feel like eating out and it's quite close to the city centre compared to what it feels like on the map.
  
  What could be improved: It feels like they bought what was supposed to be one flat and divided the space with cardboard walls. Nothing wrong with that necessarily, but it does feel a bit odd when you come in.

  What could be improved: It's too loud and dusty to open the windows, but it's not exactly owners' fault.
  There is no elevator, may be a problem for some.
