Hotel Description

You know what really struck me about Fragola Apartments when I first walked up? The way they’ve positioned these apartments to actually make the most of that Vistula River view – and I mean, when they say “Vistula View,” they’re not kidding around like some places do. From most of the units, you get this genuinely lovely stretch of the river, especially beautiful in the early morning when the light hits the water just right.

The apartments themselves feel properly thought out, not like someone just threw together a bunch of furniture and called it a day. I stayed in one of the larger units and honestly, the kitchen was way better equipped than I expected – actually had decent knives and proper cookware, which you’d be surprised how rare that is in apartment-style accommodations. The whole place has this clean, modern vibe without being sterile, if that makes sense. You can tell they’ve put real effort into making it feel homey rather than just functional. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even though you’re not exactly in the middle of nowhere. The soundproofing is solid, and the building seems to attract the kind of travelers who aren’t looking to party until 3 AM.

The location works really well – you’re close enough to walk into the main areas without being stuck right in the tourist chaos. I found myself taking these nice walks along the river in the evenings, which became sort of a ritual after long days of sightseeing. The staff (well, the property manager I dealt with mostly) was refreshingly straightforward about everything – check-in was smooth, they actually responded quickly when I had questions, and they gave me those local recommendations that felt genuine rather than scripted. Parking was easier than I’d feared, though I’d definitely recommend asking about spots ahead of time if you’re driving. One small thing that impressed me – they’d stocked the fridge with some basic essentials, nothing fancy but just those little touches that show they get what travelers actually need. The only minor gripe I had was that the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty in certain corners of the apartment, but honestly, it forced me to spend more time looking out at that river view, so maybe that was a blessing in disguise. For a 4-star place, it definitely delivers on what you’d hope for without any of that overpriced boutique hotel nonsense.

  Oh my god what a stay! This place was everything we could have wanted and more. It looked exactly like the photos and we felt so at home. It was spacious, tea and coffee included was a nice touch, warm, cosy, well equipped and the location, just a small walk from town was perfect. What a lovely neighbourhood with little shops on every corner. Also massive shout out to the door people, they were incredible!!

  We were satisfied with the accommodation. The apartments were large, nice, modernly furnished and clean. The room also had an electric kettle, cooker, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, TV, hairdryer. The apartments were located close to the center. We definitely recommend it.
