Hotel Description
You know what really surprised me about GA Luxury Apartments G9? The moment you walk in, it doesn’t feel like you’re staying in some corporate hotel chain – it’s actually got this warm, lived-in vibe that makes you want to kick off your shoes and stay awhile. I mean, the name says “luxury” but it’s not the stuffy kind where you’re afraid to touch anything. It’s more like staying at your well-traveled friend’s really nice place, if that makes sense.
The location on Grzegórzecka is honestly perfect for getting a feel for real Krakow life. You’re in Grzegórzki, which locals just call “the district where actual people live” – not touristy at all, but you can still walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes when you want that medieval magic. There’s this great little bakery two blocks down that opens crazy early (like 6 AM early), and I swear half the neighborhood stops by for their morning coffee ritual. The tram connections are solid too, which you’ll appreciate if you’re planning day trips or just don’t feel like walking everywhere. Parking was surprisingly manageable, though I’d still recommend asking about spots when you book – street parking can get interesting during the week when locals are doing their thing.
What really sets this place apart is how they’ve nailed the apartment concept without losing hotel conveniences. The spaces feel genuinely homey – proper kitchens where you can actually cook if you want to hit up the local markets, comfortable seating areas that aren’t just for show, and bedrooms that don’t echo when you walk around. The bathrooms are particularly well done, with those rainfall showerheads that actually have decent water pressure (you’d be amazed how often that’s a problem). Honestly, the 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s those little details – like how the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the entire space, or how the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, or the way the windows open properly for fresh air instead of those tiny hotel slits. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet after 9 PM, which is perfect for sleeping but might feel too mellow if you’re looking for nightlife right outside your door. For that, you’ll want to head toward Kazimierz or the main square anyway, which – let’s be honest – is where the good stuff happens after dark in Krakow. The staff seems to genuinely know the city too, not just the standard tourist recommendations, so don’t hesitate to ask about whatever you’re actually interested in doing.

Wonderful – Eleanor from United Kingdom – January 27, 2025 (9/10)
Gorgeous apartment, very stylish and comfortable. Some nice touches throughout such as cotton pads and a good shower gel in the bathroom, bottles of water and snacks in the kitchen. Fantastic location, it was really easy to walk to the Old Town or Kazimerez. Check-in was straightforward, hosts provided clear instructions.
What could be improved: The only issue we had was coffee-making facilities! They do provide a coffee machine, but with only a couple pods and we couldn't find anywhere to buy more. Could do with a cafetiere or something similar. Otherwise no issues at all!Great place for a longer stay! – Kamila from United Kingdom – September 9, 2024 (8/10)

Great stay marred by gas blast next door. – Peter from United Kingdom – October 16, 2024 (8/10)
Great location and spacious.
What could be improved: Left in the dark following the gas blast next door at Sady’s – it could have been really dangerous and the whole place smelt of toxic gas.Very Good – Daria from Germany – May 19, 2024 (8/10)
Nice spacious apartment with bathtub, very good location
What could be improved: Sofa smelled bad and needs cleaning, curtains in bedroom were too thin and didn’t protect from sunlight
