Walking into the lobby, you’re hit with this surprisingly sophisticated vibe – all clean lines and warm lighting that actually makes sense. The 4-star rating feels spot-on, maybe even a bit conservative.

The thing about this place is how they’ve nailed the details that most hotels mess up. Check-in was genuinely quick (I mean, we’re talking three minutes, not the usual “quick” that means twenty), and the front desk staff actually remembered our names the next morning without squinting at a screen. The rooms have that lived-in comfort without feeling worn down – you know how some places try so hard to be trendy that you can’t figure out how to turn on the lights? Not here. Everything just works the way you’d expect it to. The beds are legitimately comfortable too, not just piled high with pillows to fake it. I’m picky about mattresses and slept better than I have in months.

What really sold me though was stumbling into their restaurant around 7 PM on a Tuesday – it was buzzing with locals, not just hotel guests picking at overpriced room service. That’s always a good sign. The bartender was chatting with regulars in what sounded like genuine conversations, not forced hospitality theater. Even the coffee in the morning was proper coffee, not that brown water most places serve. Look, I’m not saying it’s perfect – the elevator makes this weird humming sound, and sometimes you can hear conversations from the hallway – but these feel like real building quirks, not neglect. The 8.5 rating makes total sense when you factor in the price point. It’s one of those places where you’d actually want to hang out in the common areas instead of hiding in your room, which is rarer than it should be.
