Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Gallery 7? It’s literally tucked into one of the most touristy streets in Krakow’s Old Town, but somehow they’ve managed to create this incredibly peaceful retreat. I mean, Grodzka Street is basically the main artery between the Main Square and Wawel Castle – normally that would be a nightmare for noise levels, but apartment 3 sits back from the street just enough that you get the location without the constant chatter of tour groups passing by at 7 AM.

The space itself feels like someone’s stylish friend actually lives there, not like those sterile hotel apartments where everything’s beige and boring. There’s real art on the walls (hence the Gallery 7 name, I guess), and the kitchen is properly stocked – I’m talking good knives, a decent coffee maker, the works. Honestly, after staying in so many places where they give you two tiny spoons and call it “kitchenette equipped,” this was refreshing. The bathroom’s modern without being cold, and they’ve got this great shower that actually has proper water pressure. Small thing, but you know how it is when you’ve been walking around Krakow’s cobblestones all day.

What really sold me on this place was the morning routine I fell into. You can walk to the bakery on Floriańska Street (about three minutes) for fresh bread, then swing by the little grocery near St. Mary’s for whatever else you need. The apartment’s positioned so you’re close enough to everything that matters – the Cloth Hall, all those amazing restaurants around Plac Nowy in Kazimierz, even the Planty gardens when you need a breather from the medieval architecture overload. But here’s the thing locals know that most visitors don’t: Grodzka Street has this perfect flow where it’s busy during the day but goes quiet by evening, especially on weekdays. So you get the convenience without feeling like you’re camping out in Times Square. The 9.2 rating makes total sense when you factor in that sweet spot of location, comfort, and actually feeling like you’re living in Krakow rather than just passing through.

  Apartment was excellent, location was superb. Was only there for 3 nights but we had a great time and I would highly recommend it to anyone we will definitely be going back.

  Location was excellent. Just a few metres from old town centre. Modern comfy apt.
  
  What could be improved: Coffee machine still missing although mentioned in kitchen appliances and although mentioned in other people's bad reviews.
  No table cloths to wipe dry cutlery and plates.
  Would suggest investing in toaster too.
  
  Asked host to check out 3 hours later and wanted to charge me 160 euros . As if I added 1 more night. But then she offered me to use baggage storage for free.

  Property was situated in a fantastic place just right in centre next to the square. Was perfect to get to different places and explore Krakow. Rooms were perfect with a large lounge area. Little touches like coffee, tea etc and cotton wool, cotton buds added to our stay.

  Fantastic apartment, clean. comfortable and in perfect location. Beds are so comfortable! Appreciated the little extras, toiletries, water, chocolates. Cafes, restaurants all on your doorstep. Felt very safe. We will definitely be back.

  The best place we stayed during our entire trip to Poland. Excellent value for money. Everything is so clean, and bright, with plenty of room for 2 families. Parking is nearby, not far to go with a suit bag. Perfect location!
