I spent way too many evenings out there just decompressing after long days of wandering around the old town streets. The whole vibe is sort of like staying at your well-traveled aunt’s house, if your aunt happened to have really good taste in outdoor furniture and knew how to grow jasmine that smells incredible in the evenings.

What really struck me was how the staff actually seemed to live in the area – they’d casually mention which local bakery opens earliest (trust me, you’ll want to know this) or which streets get too crowded with tour groups around 11 AM. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable without trying too hard to be fancy. I mean, you’re not getting marble bathrooms or anything, but the bed was solid, the shower had proper water pressure, and honestly, the windows actually open – which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places seal you in with questionable air conditioning. The whole place has this lived-in feeling that’s way more relaxing than those sterile chain hotels where everything looks like it was installed yesterday.

The location puts you right in the sweet spot where you can walk to all the main old town attractions without being kept awake by drunk tourists stumbling home at 2 AM. I’d usually grab breakfast in the garden, wander out to explore for the day, then come back in the afternoon to recharge before dinner. There’s something really satisfying about having a quiet base when you’re staying somewhere with a lot of tourist energy – it’s like having a little refuge where you can actually think about what you saw that day instead of just rushing to the next thing on your list. The 8.7 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, it absolutely nails the things that actually matter when you’re traveling.

  We like Krakow very much so we were glad there again although the weather was not just perfect. Kazimierz district is beautiful part of town with strong atmosphere so there is no chance to not enjoy it. The flat is very convenient and good place to spend the time for a few days in the city. You have available everything what you need for the basic needs, even in the kitchen (for preparing simple foods), but also might be a bit more of equipment. Parking is available with apartament down in the garage, which is very useful.
