The whole property has this sort of intimate garden courtyard feel (hence the name, I guess), where they’ve managed to create these little pockets of quiet even though you’re right in the mix of things. I mean, when I first walked through the entrance, there was this immediate sense of stepping away from the street noise – they’ve got these clever landscaping tricks with hedges and water features that actually work. The rooms themselves lean into that loft aesthetic pretty heavily, with high ceilings and these great big windows that let in tons of natural light. Check-in was smooth, no drama there, and the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood well enough to give real recommendations, not just the standard tourist stuff.

What really won me over, though, was how they handle the small things that can make or break a stay. The beds are genuinely comfortable – not just marketing comfortable, but the kind where you actually sleep well.
