The lobby hits you with this warm, lived-in elegance that doesn’t feel stuffy or trying too hard, and the staff at check-in were genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions. You can tell they’ve figured out that sweet spot between professional and personal.

What really sold me on this place, though, were all the little details that add up over a few days. The rooms are well thought out – I mean, they actually put the outlets where you need them, the shower has proper water pressure (seriously, why is this so rare?), and the beds are that perfect firmness where you don’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with the mattress all night. The soundproofing is surprisingly good too; I was worried about street noise but honestly slept better here than I do at home most nights. The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work – everything was spotless without feeling sterile, if that makes sense. And here’s something you don’t see often: the WiFi actually works consistently throughout the building, even in the elevators.

I’ll be honest, the 9.3 rating had me a bit skeptical at first – seemed almost too good to be true – but after staying here, I get it. It’s not about having the fanciest everything; it’s about doing the fundamentals really well and adding those thoughtful touches that make you feel like they actually want you there. The breakfast setup (when they have it running) is solid without being overwhelming, and the common areas have this relaxed vibe where you can actually sit and work or read without feeling like you’re in someone’s way. The location works well too – you’re close enough to the action without being right in the thick of tourist chaos, which I actually prefer. Would I stay here again? Definitely. It’s one of those places that just makes travel a little bit easier, and honestly, that’s worth its weight in gold when you’re dealing with all the other hassles of being away from home.
