Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Glamour Old Town Blich? It’s actually tucked away on this quiet residential street in Grzegórzki – I mean, when you hear “Old Town” in the name, you expect to be right in the thick of tourist central, but honestly, this is so much better. Blich street is one of those spots where you get authentic Kraków without the constant stream of tour groups. The walk to the main square takes maybe 15 minutes on foot, and you’re passing actual Polish bakeries and corner shops instead of souvenir stands the whole way.
The hotel itself feels like someone took a traditional townhouse and gave it just enough modern touches without going overboard – which, let’s be honest, is harder to pull off than it sounds. The rooms have this comfortable, lived-in elegance that makes you feel like you’re staying at a well-traveled friend’s place rather than some sterile chain hotel. I was surprised by how quiet it stays at night too, especially considering you’re still close enough to hear the occasional tram rumbling by (but in a cozy way, not annoying). The staff actually remembers your name after the first day, which is refreshing – they seem genuinely excited to share recommendations that aren’t just the obvious tourist traps. One guy at reception told me about this incredible pierogi place on Dietla street that I never would have found otherwise.
What really sold me on this place was realizing how perfectly positioned it is for getting around. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Grzegórzki tram stop, which connects you to everything – the Jewish quarter, Wawel Castle, even the train station if you’re doing day trips. But here’s the thing most visitors don’t realize: this neighborhood comes alive in the evenings with locals heading to the wine bars and small restaurants along Krakowska street. It’s like getting a peek into how people actually live here instead of just seeing the postcard version. The 9.2 rating makes total sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but everything they do, they do really well. The breakfast spread is solid (proper Polish coffee, thank god), check-in was smooth even when I arrived early, and honestly, the value feels almost too good for what you get. I’d definitely stay here again, probably will next time I’m back in Kraków.

Lovely apartment in a great location. – Christopher from United Kingdom – August 5, 2025 (8/10)
The location was great, just 10 mins or so to the main square, tram stops close by and a short walk to/from the main train station.
Apartment was nicely furnished and had enough space for our group of 5.
Host replied promptly to any messages.
What could be improved: The apartment was very close to the train line which can be noisy with trains going by til late but this wasnt much of an issue.Wonderful – Brown from United Kingdom – July 21, 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: Minor points, maybe a toaster would be handy and maybe a walk in shower.Amazing!! – Aj from United Kingdom – February 23, 2025 (10/10)
The place was gorgeous, perfect for our girls trip and right next to a train station! In terms of proximity to areas in Krakow we were wanting to go, nothing was much more than a 20 minute walk, it was wonderful. What also added so much to our experience is communication with the owner was super easy and they were really helpful!!
