Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first heard the name “Groble Residence WAWELOFTS,” I wasn’t sure what to expect – it sounds a bit quirky, doesn’t it? But this place really surprised me in the best way. You know what struck me immediately? The way they’ve managed to feel both modern and connected to Krakow’s old soul at the same time. I mean, with a name that plays on Wawel (you know, the famous castle that basically defines this city’s skyline), they’re clearly not trying to hide their location – and honestly, they shouldn’t.
The thing about staying here is that you get this interesting mix of apartment-style comfort with actual hotel service, which is sort of rare to find done well. The lofts – and they really do feel like lofts, not just hotel rooms with high ceilings – have this lived-in quality that makes you want to actually unpack instead of living out of your suitcase. I particularly loved how the morning light comes through those big windows, and you can actually hear the city waking up without feeling like you’re sleeping on the street. The kitchenette situation is legit too, which saved me from tourist restaurant prices more than once (though let’s be honest, the food scene around here is incredible anyway).
What really got me was the attention to small details that you don’t always get at four-star places. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – no hovering staff trying to upsell you on spa treatments, just genuine helpfulness when I needed restaurant recommendations. And speaking of recommendations, whoever’s working the front desk actually knows the neighborhood. They pointed me toward this little café about two blocks away that I never would have found otherwise, and it became my morning ritual. The whole area has this perfect balance where you’re close enough to walk to the main sights without being in the thick of tourist chaos. You’ll hear some street noise during the day, but it’s the good kind – trams, people talking, life happening – not party noise that keeps you up at night. I stayed there during shoulder season in late spring, and the vibe was just right. Not dead quiet, not overwhelming. The 8.9 rating makes total sense to me because this isn’t trying to be a luxury palace, it’s trying to be a really solid, comfortable place where you’d actually want to spend time between adventures. And that’s exactly what it delivers.

Everything you need!Roma from United Kingdom (9/10)
The location was very good, and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. We got somewhat confused with locking setup for the apartment, but after a few trails, we entered .
Availability of lift was especially good for us, but it wasn't advertised, and I believe it would be helpful. I would both recommend it and stay there again. Thank you to our hosts.Gordon from Spain (9/10)
Location was fantastic in a quite residential area, quite and very secure. Just a short ten minute walk through a park to Krakow Square and three minutes to the Castle and river. Apartment was a good size and tastefully decorated and very warm.
