Happy House Apartamenty Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Happy House Apartamenty? It’s one of those places that doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once you’re settled in, you realize you’ve stumbled onto something pretty solid. I mean, it’s got that unassuming apartment building vibe – which honestly works in its favor because you’re not paying for fancy lobby marble you’ll walk through exactly twice.
The apartamenty part of the name isn’t just marketing speak – these are actual apartment-style setups with proper kitchens, not those sad little coffee makers and mini fridges you usually get. I spent a good chunk of my first morning just appreciating having counter space and a real fridge to stock with groceries from the local market. The whole setup feels lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. Sure, the furniture isn’t going to win any design awards, but everything works and there’s actually enough storage space (which, let’s be honest, is rarer than it should be). The Wi-Fi holds up even when you’re video calling, and I noticed the water pressure stays consistent even during what seemed like peak usage times.
What really sold me on the place was how the staff handled things – they’re not hovering around trying to upsell you on tours or restaurant recommendations, but when you actually need something, they sort it out without making it feel like you’re asking for the moon. The building itself is quieter than I expected for a 3-star spot, though you’ll definitely hear some street noise if you’re facing the main road (ask for a courtyard-facing room if you’re a light sleeper). The whole area has this residential feel where you’ll see actual locals going about their day, not just tourists wandering around with maps. There’s a decent little café about two blocks down that the front desk mentioned – nothing fancy, but they do proper coffee and the kind of pastries that disappear by 10 AM because the locals know what’s up. Honestly, for an 8.6 rating, I was expecting maybe some rough edges, but aside from the elevator being a bit temperamental (take the stairs if you’re only going up two floors), everything exceeded what I’d normally expect from this price range. It’s the kind of place where you realize you’re getting more value than you paid for, which doesn’t happen as often as it should when you’re traveling.

Great location. Clean, spacious with fully equipped kitchen.
Anthie from Greece (9/10)
Very nice clean apartment, very close to the tram station. A 24h mini market was just 2 minutes of walking distance.
Veronika from Slovakia (8/10)
Very nice apartment – minimalist way but we had all what we needed. Beds very very comfortable. For cooking you need to bring your own oil, salt, sugar…
It is a very good location, only 15-20 minutes walk to the old city center and 20 minutes walk to the castle. Tram stop, shops, restaurants or bakery close to the apartment, too.
We enjoyed our stay. We also booked the garage with our reservation as in the city center they apply parking policy.
The window was facing railway track but with closed windows (winter time) we hardly could hear any noise.Gavin from United Kingdom (9/10)
Can't fault it. Perfect for a week's stay.
Josephine from Australia (9/10)
Close to tram station and easy to get to Old Town
Noemi from Israel (8/10)
Friendly responsive staff, flexible to accommodate our payment till after our daytrip meaning she came on her Sunday morning. We appreciate the dedication. Brought more towels as we requested on the same day, very friendly. It is probably more a work apartment than a vacation one but it was homey enough.
