Honestly, when I first heard “Harmonica Apartment,” I wasn’t sure what to expect – I mean, the name’s pretty quirky, right? But LoftAffair really knows what they’re doing with this place. The moment you walk in, you get why it’s called that. There’s this amazing acoustic quality to the space (something about the high ceilings and exposed beams), and I swear the previous guest had actually left a harmonica on the coffee table – whether that was intentional or just perfect timing, I’ll never know.

What really got me was how they’ve nailed that sweet spot between feeling like a proper apartment and having all the hotel perks you actually want. The kitchen isn’t just for show – I actually cooked breakfast there, and everything worked perfectly. The coffee maker was one of those fancy ones that doesn’t require an engineering degree to operate, which you know how rare that is. The bed situation is seriously comfortable too, like the kind where you wake up and forget you’re not at home for a second. I’m usually pretty sensitive to street noise, but this place must have decent soundproofing because I slept right through what I later realized was a pretty busy area.

The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward hovering around a front desk wondering if you’re in the right place. They send you clear instructions beforehand, and everything just works. I appreciated that they didn’t try to oversell the place either; what you see is what you get, but what you get is actually really good. The 9.4 rating makes complete sense once you’re there. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it nails all the things that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just sleeping. The lighting is actually decent for working if you need to (why do so many places get this wrong?), and there’s enough space to properly unpack without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. You know what impressed me most though? The little touches that show someone actually thought about what guests need – good water pressure, outlets where you need them, and a proper full-length mirror. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself thinking “I could actually live here” rather than just counting down until checkout.
