Hotel Description
You know what hit me first about Heritage Apartments? The location is absolutely killer – and I mean that in the best way possible. Koletek Street is this tiny cobblestone lane that most tourists completely miss, but it’s literally thirty seconds from the main square. I’m talking about being close enough to hear the trumpeter from St. Mary’s Tower every hour, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the chaos of drunk backpackers at 2 AM. It’s one of those addresses that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special, honestly.
The building itself has this authentic old-world charm that actually feels genuine rather than fabricated for tourists. These aren’t your typical sterile hotel rooms – they’re proper apartments with character. The ceilings are high (which is amazing in summer, by the way), the windows are these beautiful old-style frames that open wide, and there’s just enough modern touches to make everything work without ruining the vibe. I stayed there in October and could walk to Wawel Castle in about eight minutes, hit up Kazimierz for dinner without needing trams, and – this is key – actually park nearby without selling a kidney. The staff knew their stuff too; when I mentioned wanting to avoid the tourist traps, they pointed me toward this incredible pierogi place on Grodzka that I never would’ve found otherwise.
What really sets this place apart though is how it strikes that perfect balance between being in the thick of everything and having actual peace when you need it. The 9.6 rating isn’t just impressive numbers – you can feel it in the details. The check-in was smooth (they actually waited for me when my flight got delayed), the apartments are spotless without that weird hotel-cleaning-product smell, and honestly, I slept better there than I do at home. Sure, you’ll hear some street noise if you keep windows open, but it’s more charming church bells and occasional horse carriages than traffic. If you’re looking for a place that gives you the full Krakow experience without the hassles – where you can grab fresh bread from the bakery around the corner and still be at the Cloth Hall before the tour groups arrive – this is absolutely the spot.

Fantastic apartment, would highly recommend and would definitely book again….. – Joanne from United Kingdom – July 26, 2025 (10/10)
Wow, these apartments are stunning and I cannot recommend them highly enough . Beautifully furnished, everything you could possibly need to cater for yourself (we didn't, we ate out), great showers, tv, wi-fi. The building is being refurbished and looks fantastic from the outside. Just around the corner you will find bars/supermarkets and the walk to "The Square" takes about 10 mins – through streets lined with bars/shops, etc….. A 5 min walk in the other direction brings you to the River. All in all, a 10/10 apartment and if we were to go to Krakow again, we would certainly book this apartment.

Well designed . Spacious rooms and super tidy . Kitchen had everything you needed and I love the fact that we even had a little balcony so we could enjoy morning coffee outside
What could be improved: Nothing major, but the building is currently being renovated. The stay over the weekend was great, but from Monday we could hear drilling and other construction noises in the mornings, which made it hard to sleep in.Elegant, modern, close to Old Town but away from the crowds. Luxury stay in the heart of the city! – Laura from United States – June 13, 2025 (10/10)
This property is amazing! The building it is in is in the process of being renovated. Some apartments are complete, others are being worked on. Apt 10 is beautiful. It seems very new and the materials used are stunning. The apartment has lots of storage, a washing machine, a well stocked kitchen, a nice patio with views of the castle—it was just perfect. Since the building is being renovated, there is noise in the morning starting about 8 a.m. It did not bother us because we were up early anyway. The 2 bedrooms were spacious and the 2 bathrooms are well appointed. It is located near a few restaurants and bakeries and a short walk to the Wawel tram stop. Don’t think twice, just book it! It is awesome!
What could be improved: Nothing…it was impeccable.Exceptional – Agata from Poland – June 8, 2025 (10/10)
