You know what struck me first about LoftAffair? The name actually makes sense once you’re inside – it really does feel like staying in someone’s stylishly designed apartment rather than a typical hotel room. I mean, the building on Teofila Lenartowicza is this gorgeous old structure that fits right into Old Town’s character, but step inside and you’ll find they’ve done something really clever with the space. The loft-style layout gives you that airy feeling you don’t usually get in Krakow’s historic buildings, where rooms can sometimes feel a bit cramped.

The location honestly couldn’t be better if you’re the type who likes to explore on foot. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from the Main Market Square – and I’m talking an actual leisurely stroll, not that “5-minute walk” that hotels sometimes claim which turns out to be a 15-minute hike. What’s great is that Teofila Lenartowicza is just off the main tourist routes, so you get that authentic neighborhood feel without sacrificing convenience. There’s this little bakery around the corner that locals queue up at in the mornings (trust me on the zapiekanka), and you’ll actually hear Polish being spoken on the street instead of just tour groups. The area gets pretty quiet after 9 PM, which is perfect if you’re a light sleeper – though you might catch some weekend revelry drifting over from the busier streets.

I have to say, the apartment itself really delivers on that 4-star promise. The kitchen setup is actually functional (not just for show like some places), and they’ve thought about details that matter – decent water pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, and WiFi that doesn’t drop out every time someone in the next room starts streaming. The decor walks that fine line between Instagram-worthy and livable, if that makes sense. During peak season – basically May through September – you’ll want to book well ahead because word’s getting out about this place. The 8.6 rating feels about right; it’s not perfect (the stairs can be a bit much if you’re hauling heavy luggage), but it’s the kind of place where the positives far outweigh any minor gripes. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too – none of that waiting around in a tiny lobby situation you sometimes get with apartment-style accommodations.

  Perfect location, couple of minutes walk from the main square and the street is very quiet and calm. Very comfortable, cozy and atmospheric interior, the place where you really feel yourself at home and also part of this amazing city.   What could be improved: Some stuff didn’t work – light in the kitchen and the tv was a mistery. Flooring (especially Kitchen tiles) in some rooms cry’s for change and a lot of ants in the kitchen.

  El apartament és perfecte, té totes les comoditats necessàries y és molt espaiós. La neteja era impecable. La ubicació és excel•lent, disposa d'una parada de tramvia i de bus al costat i es troba a menys de 15 minuts a peu de la plaça central. A més a més la qualitat-preu és inmillorable.
