Hotel Artur Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Hotel Artur? I walked in expecting your typical mid-range place – decent but forgettable – and honestly, I was completely wrong. The lobby hits you with this warm, lived-in feeling that’s hard to fake, like someone actually thought about how travelers feel when they’re tired and just want to be somewhere welcoming. The front desk staff seemed genuinely happy to see me, not in that scripted hotel way, but more like they were actually invested in making sure I had a good stay.
The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully simple – nothing flashy, but everything works exactly how it should. The bed was one of those perfect firmness situations where you don’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with it all night, and the shower had proper water pressure (you travelers know what I mean about that being a total lottery). What really got me was the attention to small details that most places skip – decent lighting for reading, enough outlets where you actually need them, and windows that open if you want fresh air instead of just AC. The whole place stays surprisingly quiet too, even though it’s not tucked away somewhere remote.
Here’s the thing that makes Hotel Artur stand out from the pack – it feels like the staff actually talks to each other and remembers guests. I mentioned I was having trouble finding a good local coffee spot, and the next morning someone had left a little hand-drawn map with three different options marked out, including which one had the best pastries (they were right, by the way). That 9.0 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen – it’s because places like this remember that hospitality is actually about people, not just clean sheets and working WiFi. Sure, it’s a 3-star hotel, but honestly, I’ve stayed at places with more stars and way less soul. If you’re the kind of traveler who values genuine service and wants to feel like a person instead of a room number, this is your spot.
Krakow’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with historical character, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this beautifully preserved Polish city.

Breakfast was great with many choices. The orange juice was amazing.
The staff was extremely kind and professional.
Our children enjoyed the indoor play area. It is nicely kept with a lot of toys and has a baby/children fence surrounding it. There is a sofa and arm chair for parents to sit while the kids play.
