Hotel Europejski Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Hotel Europejski on Lubicz Street, you immediately get that classic Krakow vibe — it’s one of those three-star places that feels like it’s been part of the Old Town fabric forever. The building has character without being stuffy, and honestly, the location is what first caught my attention. You’re literally steps from everything that matters in this city, which explains why couples keep rating the spot a near-perfect 9.6. I mean, when you can walk to the Main Square in just a few minutes, you know you’ve found something special.
The Heart of Old Town
What really sets this place apart is how perfectly positioned it is — you’re in that sweet spot where you feel like a local but can still hit all the tourist highlights without breaking a sweat. The Planty gardens are right there for morning walks, and the train station is close enough that you don’t need to stress about catching connections. I’ve stayed in plenty of Krakow hotels, and this location just works. You can duck back for an afternoon rest between exploring Wawel Castle and the evening dinner rush, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to pack everything in.
Comfortable Rooms
The rooms at Hotel Europejski have that no-nonsense European charm — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out without any unnecessary frills. You’ll find everything you actually need (good Wi-Fi, decent storage, proper lighting for getting ready), plus the beds are genuinely comfortable after long days of walking on cobblestones. The bathrooms are well-maintained, and there’s something refreshing about a place that focuses on getting the basics absolutely right rather than trying to wow you with gimmicks that don’t work half the time.
Food That Actually Delivers
Here’s where things get interesting — the food here is legitimately good, not just “hotel restaurant acceptable.” The breakfast buffet has proper variety with both Polish specialties and international options, so you can fuel up properly before tackling the city. What surprised me most was how much care they put into the meal quality overall. You know how hotel dining can be hit or miss? Well, this is definitely a hit, and locals have started noticing too. Plus, having private parking in Old Town Krakow is practically unheard of — if you’re driving, that alone might seal the deal.
Why Guests Love It
The thing about Hotel Europejski is that it delivers exactly what most travelers actually want — a great location, solid comfort, and genuine value without pretending to be something it’s not. Couples especially seem to get it, probably because you can be romantic wandering the medieval streets but still have a reliable, comfortable base to return to. The 8.5 rating makes perfect sense when you experience how everything just flows smoothly here. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but for exploring Krakow properly while staying somewhere that feels authentically part of the city, it’s honestly hard to beat.
Krakow’s apartments welcome long stays with workspace corners, views over the rooftops of the Old Town, and quick routes to the tram lines and the Planty ring.

Absolutely amazing place in the city center of Kraków right next to the Galeria Krakowska mall and bus station. The room was very clean equipped with all the desire facilities and we could also enjoy a lovely balcony view.
