I’ll be honest, the 9.3 rating had me wondering if it was one of those places that’s all style and no substance, but after three nights there, I totally get it. The location puts you within walking distance of some really solid restaurants (there’s this little bistro two blocks over that the front desk recommended – definitely not touristy), and the neighborhood has this great energy without being too chaotic. Parking was surprisingly straightforward, which anyone who’s driven in the city center knows is basically a miracle. The only minor thing – and I mean minor – is that the vintage-style windows in some rooms let in a bit more street noise than you might expect, but honestly, it wasn’t enough to mess with sleep, and the whole experience feels so special that you kind of don’t mind. If you’re looking for somewhere that actually delivers on its theme without feeling gimmicky, this place nails it.

  Beautiful hotel and really well appointed. Close to the centre so easy walking distance to the old town centre. The pool was nice but not open in the morning which was a disappointment.Saunas and steam room were though.Breakfast was nice but could do with a plate warmer to keep your hot food cosy.Would definitely stay there again.
