The check-in was smooth (no standing around for twenty minutes while they “find your reservation”), and the staff genuinely seemed to know the area well. When I asked about getting dinner somewhere that wasn’t touristy, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic list – he actually walked me to the window and pointed out a couple spots within walking distance that locals frequent. That kind of insider knowledge is worth its weight in gold when you’re somewhere new. The rooms themselves strike that perfect balance between comfortable and practical. Nothing’s overly fussy, but everything works properly – you know how hotel showers can be hit or miss? This one actually had decent water pressure and stayed at the temperature you set it to. I’ll be honest, the location took me a minute to figure out, but once I got oriented, it worked really well.
