You’re walking distance to the main square – I’m talking like a genuine 5-minute stroll, not that “walking distance” hotels love to claim that actually means 20 minutes uphill. There’s this great little café around the corner that the concierge recommended (definitely not a tourist trap), and you’re close enough to the castle that you can pop over in the evening when the crowds thin out. The breakfast spread was actually impressive – local pastries, really good coffee, and they had this selection of regional cheeses and meats that felt authentic rather than just checking boxes. I mean, it’s not going to change your life, but it’s the kind of breakfast that makes you excited to start your day rather than rushing out to find real food. Honestly, with a 9-point-something rating, Hotel Kossak delivers on what it promises – a genuinely comfortable stay that enhances your trip rather than just providing a place to crash.
