Hotel Description
You know what? Hotel M29 caught me completely off guard. I’ll be honest – when I first walked into the lobby, I wasn’t expecting much from a 4-star place, but there’s something about this hotel that just works. The design is clean without being sterile, if that makes sense. They’ve got this modern aesthetic going on, but it doesn’t feel cold or intimidating like some boutique places do. Actually, the lobby has these really comfortable seating areas where you can actually work or just hang out without feeling like you’re camping out.
The rooms are where M29 really shines though. I mean, they’re not huge, but whoever designed the layout actually thought about how people use hotel rooms. The bathroom has proper counter space (you’d be surprised how rare that is), and the shower pressure is honestly impressive. The beds are that perfect firmness where you sink in just enough, and I slept better there than I have in some supposedly luxury places. What I really appreciated was the blackout curtains – they actually block out light, unlike those flimsy things you get at chain hotels. The air conditioning runs quietly too, which is clutch if you’re a light sleeper like me.
Here’s the thing that really sets M29 apart – the staff actually seems to care. Check-in was smooth, no weird upselling attempts, and when I had a question about late checkout, they just made it happen without any drama. The housekeeping is thorough but not intrusive, and they have this nice touch where they don’t automatically replace towels unless you ask (which I appreciate, honestly). The location works really well too – you’re close enough to everything you need but tucked away from the main tourist chaos. There’s decent parking if you’re driving, though it fills up during busy periods, so get there early if you can. I’d definitely stay here again, and that 8.9 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, just a really solid, well-run hotel that gets the details right.
The concierge service in Krakow can arrange exclusive castle tours, secure classical concert tickets, and organize visits to nearby Wieliczka Salt Mine and Auschwitz Memorial.

The hotel is very well located. The rooms and the double bed are spacious and clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The autumn-themed decorations were very charming, adding a cozy touch to the overall atmosphere. Although I didn’t try the restaurant or the bar, the ambiance they created looked truly inviting and pleasant.
