Hotel Description
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first walked into Hotel Saski – you know how some Hilton properties can feel pretty cookie-cutter. But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked into this beautiful historic building that feels genuinely Krakow, not like someone just slapped a luxury hotel into any old European city. The lobby hits you with this perfect mix of old-world elegance and modern comfort – think original architectural details but with furniture you’d actually want to sink into after a long day of walking around the Old Town. The staff seem to get that you’re probably here to explore the city, not hide in your room, so they’re genuinely helpful with restaurant recommendations and timing tips (like when to hit Wawel Castle before the tour groups descend).
The rooms are where this place really shines, and I mean that – the attention to detail is impressive without being fussy. You’ll find those little touches that show someone was actually thinking about what travelers need: proper lighting for reading, outlets where you can actually reach them, and bathrooms with real counter space for your stuff. The beds are legitimately comfortable, which matters more than you’d think when you’re doing serious sightseeing. What I really appreciated was how quiet everything stays, even when the hotel’s busy. You’re close enough to everything that matters – the Main Market Square is an easy walk, and you can practically feel the energy of Kazimierz from there – but the building itself creates this nice buffer from street noise.
Here’s what sealed it for me though: the whole place just feels right for Krakow. It’s polished and sophisticated (definitely earning that 5-star rating), but it doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard or disconnected from where you are. The breakfast setup actually works efficiently even when it’s packed, and the concierge team knows their stuff about everything from booking decent restaurant tables to figuring out day trips to Zakopane. I’ve stayed at places with similar ratings that felt sort of sterile, but Hotel Saski manages to be luxurious while still having personality. If you’re the type who wants a really solid home base for exploring Krakow – somewhere you’ll look forward to coming back to each evening, but that won’t keep you locked away from the city – this place gets it right. The price point reflects the quality, but honestly, for what you get and where you are, it feels fair rather than gouging.
The luxury concierge service in Krakow offers personalized access to private royal collections, traditional Polish dining, and VIP cultural experiences in this historic Polish jewel.

The location is unbeatable and the hotel has a cozy vibe. No doubt on the cleanliness of the property including the room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, I had naps whenever I laid my head. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Amazing hotel in the centre of Krakow, 2 minute walk to and from the main square. Everything about this hotel is amazing, from the decor to the staff to the facilities. We couldn’t have had a better stay. Breakfast was amazing! Fantastic pool, sauna and steam room, and gym used everyday when staying. Gym open 24/7
