The name might sound a bit grand, but this 4-star spot has this understated elegance that hits you right when you step into the lobby – it’s all warm wood and soft lighting without trying too hard to impress.

The thing about staying here is that you really feel like you’re in the heart of things without dealing with the tourist chaos. I mean, you can actually get a decent night’s sleep (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always guaranteed in city center hotels). The rooms have this lived-in comfort – not sterile like some places that feel like they were decorated by a committee. My room had these heavy curtains that actually blocked out the morning light, and the bed was one of those where you just sink in after a long day of walking around. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious too, with one of those rainfall showers that actually has good water pressure.

What really sold me on this place, though, was the staff – they’ve got that perfect balance of being helpful without hovering. The front desk guy (I think his name was Tomasz) gave me directions to this little café around the corner that I never would have found otherwise, and when I mentioned I was looking for a good spot for dinner, he suggested a place that was clearly where locals eat, not just another tourist trap. The whole vibe is just… comfortable, you know? Like staying at a well-run boutique hotel that happens to have really good reviews (9.1 rating, which honestly feels about right) but doesn’t feel the need to remind you of it every five minutes. It’s the kind of place where you can grab your coffee in the morning and actually plan your day without feeling rushed, and when you come back in the evening, it feels like coming home rather than just crashing somewhere.

  Everything was fantastic! The location was a short walk to most major tourist sites, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was varied and delicious, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. This was one of the largest hotel rooms and most comfortable beds we've had during our travels in Europe, and everything was very clean and modern. The breakfast buffet each morning had a great selection that varied slightly from day-to-day with a menu of items that could be ordered as well, such as eggs, omelettes, pancakes, and oatmeal. The bar offered a nice area to relax and the drinks we ordered were delicious. We would absolutely stay here again!
