Honestly, when I first pulled up to the Imperial Citi Yes Apartament on Nowohucka, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the name’s a bit quirky, right? But you know what, sometimes the places with the most character have the most interesting stories. This four-star spot sits in Czyżyny, which I’ll admit isn’t where most tourists end up, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re far enough from the Old Town crowds to breathe a little, but close enough that a quick tram ride gets you to all the main attractions without the tourist-trap pricing.

The apartments themselves really impressed me – and I mean that in a genuine way, not just because they’re pulling a 9.7 rating (though honestly, after staying there, I get it). The space feels more like a friend’s well-designed flat than a sterile hotel room. The kitchenettes are actually functional – not those sad little setups with a broken coffee maker and no real cookware. I ended up making breakfast most mornings because there’s a decent Żabka just down the street, plus a small market where locals shop. The beds are properly comfortable, and here’s something you don’t always get in Eastern European accommodations – the shower pressure is excellent and the hot water doesn’t run out after five minutes. Small things, but they matter when you’re tired from walking around Kraków all day.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Nowohucka isn’t a party street, so you can actually sleep with the windows open in warmer months. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel – you’ll see kids playing football in the courtyard next door, older folks walking their dogs in the evening. It’s real Kraków life, not the sanitized version you get in the tourist zones. The staff were genuinely helpful too, not just polite – they gave me actual directions to places, warned me about which tram stops to avoid late at night, that sort of thing. Parking was surprisingly easy (if you’re driving), and check-in was smooth even when I arrived later than planned. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with fancy amenities or Instagram-perfect views, but sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable place that feels like home for a few days. The Imperial Citi Yes delivers on that without trying too hard or charging you for the privilege of sleeping in the historic center.

  What could be improved: The one and ONLY thing we didn't like was the location.Appatrament was near a very busy road.To be honest,it cost us a first sleepless night…but there is nothing what the owner van do about a busy road….

  Bardzo ładny wystrój, niedaleko przystanek tramwajowy, autobusowy i sklepy takie jak żabka, Auchan. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem. Na przywitanie czekały słodkości, schłodzona woda w lodówce. Polecam.

  Bardzo ładne mieszkanie, czułam się jak w domu. Takiego wyposażenia nigdzie nie było jak w tym mieszkaniu. Widać, że właściciel dba o mieszkanie i chce żebyśmy czuli się jak w domu. I tak wlasnie się czuliśmy.Mieszkanie bardzo słoneczne,więc plus za klimatyzację. Napewno wróce jak będzie mi pasował termin.

  Отдыхали семьёй из 4-ех человек. Все поместились) Искали жилье поближе к друзьям, и удалось поселиться прямо в их доме) апартаменты новые, все чисто и аккуратно, магазины в шаговой доступности имеются, остановки общественного транспорта тоже близко. Инструкция по заселению понятная) отдельно хочется отметить наличие кофемашины и стирально-сушильной машины. Не нужно было думать, как посушить вещи. Даже капсулы для стирки нашлись. Запасы чая/сахара/соли/круп тоже были.
