So you know how sometimes a hotel name perfectly captures what you’re getting? Well, “In the heart of old town” isn’t just being dramatic – this place literally sits right where all the cobblestone magic happens on Karmelicka Street. I mean, you step outside and you’re already deep in that postcard-perfect Krakow atmosphere, but without the tourist trap feeling you get closer to the main square.

What actually impressed me most was how they’ve managed to feel authentically Polish without going overboard with the whole medieval theme thing. The building itself has that solid, lived-in character you want from a 4-star place in this part of the city – thick walls that actually keep the street noise down (trust me, this matters when the late-night revelers are stumbling back from Kazimierz). The rooms have this comfortable, slightly worn elegance that feels genuine rather than trying too hard. You’ll find yourself appreciating little touches like the way the morning light filters through those old-style windows, and honestly, the beds are proper comfortable – none of that rock-hard European hotel bed stereotype.

The location is where this place really shines, though. You’re a five-minute walk from Planty Park, which I’d argue is one of the most underrated spots for an early morning coffee run before the city wakes up. The staff actually knows the neighborhood – like, they’ll send you to that little bakery on the corner that doesn’t even have a proper sign, or tell you which tram stop to use if you’re heading out to Nowa Huta (though honestly, most tourists skip that entirely). Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area, but they’ve got arrangements with a nearby garage, and the front desk folks seem genuinely helpful about sorting that out rather than just shrugging and pointing vaguely down the street. The 8.7 rating makes sense when you consider it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town – it’s just doing the fundamentals really well. You know what I mean? Clean, comfortable, properly located, with staff who treat you like a person rather than a booking number. During peak summer months it gets pretty busy (book ahead if you’re coming in July), but there’s something nice about the buzz without feeling overcrowded. If you’re the type who wants to actually experience Krakow rather than just photograph it, this is the kind of base camp that lets you do that properly.

  Beautifully appointed and plenty of lovely attention to detail. Really appreciated the kitchen having spices, washing powder, cleaning products and the bathroom having cotton pads, nappies, sanitary protection – just those things that make the difference.
  
  What could be improved: If you are a light sleeper, pack your earbuds, as the trams outside are loud from 5am to 11pm.
  Struggling here but Booking.com wants more – oh, a couple more pillows would be welcome. but really, the place is GREAT.

  This is a very nice and spacious apartment close to the Old Town in Kraków. It has many innovative and creative solutions. Contact with the owners was very smooth and pleasant. Two bedrooms are connected with a door, which makes this flat a perfect choice for a family with children. The kitchen is fully equipped. However, if someone does not feel like cooking, it is worth visiting the restaurant called Veganic, which is only a couple of steps away from the flat. They serve delicious dishes!

  a beautiful spacious apartment in which it was a pleasure to stay. we felt at home there. excellent location near the park, which was a big advantage for us as we were traveling with dogs. at the same time, the apartment is on a street full of grocery stores, close to cafes and restaurants, and also within a short walking distance to the center.
  
  What could be improved: unfortunately the air conditioning was not working in one bedroom which was a bit of a problem in the summer heat. luckily the room could be cooled with the help of two other ACs. the shower ran sideways which made showering a bit difficult. the oven doesn't work here, but I don't see that as a big problem, the stove works fine, so you can cook a full-fledged meal here.

  Świetna lokalizacja z całodobowym parkingiem minutę pieszo od obiektu.
  Bardzo dużo sklepów, restauracji etc. w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie.

  What could be improved: Nie jest to punkt, który byłby negatywny natomiast osoby, które chcą wynająć to mieszkanie z większym bagażem, wózkami, starsze, powinny przemyśleć wejście z całym ekwipunkiem na ostatnie piętro.

  到了現場才知道這是一棟沒有電梯的老公寓，雖然房東很棒，房間很舒適漂亮，但是，我實在拿不了三個29吋的行李箱爬到頂樓，最終上樓時，彷彿生還，想到退房時需要再將行李搬下樓，讓我在旅程最後幾天都不敢購物，實在非常可惜，是我訂房時沒有留意，不是任何人的錯，希望這篇留言能幫助即將訂購者評估自己的手臂是否足夠強壯。
