So I stumbled across this place in Zablocie when I was hunting for something different from the typical Old Town tourist traps, and honestly? Best accidental discovery I’ve made in Krakow. The Industro Art sits on Ślusarska street in what used to be this gritty industrial area – you know how Podgórze has been transforming over the past few years – and they’ve absolutely nailed that converted warehouse aesthetic without making it feel like a Instagram prop.

The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious, which you don’t always get in these boutique places. That 55-inch TV isn’t just for show either – the WiFi actually delivers on that 1GB promise, something I learned the hard way at other places where “high-speed” means you can maybe load email if you’re patient. The balcony overlooks this interesting mix of old industrial buildings and new developments, and if you’re there in the evening, you get this nice view of people heading to the bars and galleries that have popped up around here. I mean, five years ago this neighborhood was pretty much dead after 6 PM, but now there’s actually life on the streets.

What really sold me on the area – and this is something you won’t find in most hotel descriptions – is that you’re walking distance to some of Krakow’s best kept secrets. There’s this fantastic coffee roastery called Café Camelot just a few minutes away on Plac Wolnica (locals actually go there, not just tourists), and if you’re into the whole cultural thing, the contemporary art galleries scattered around Zablocie are genuinely worth your time. The Museum of Contemporary Art is practically next door, which sounds touristy but it’s actually pretty cutting-edge stuff. Plus, getting to the main square takes maybe 15-20 minutes on foot across the Bernatka bridge – honestly, that walk alone is worth it for the river views and you skip all the tram crowds.

The building itself has this industrial-chic thing going on that actually works, probably because it’s a real conversion rather than someone just slapping exposed brick on everything and calling it authentic. Check-in was smooth, parking isn’t a nightmare like it is in the Old Town (there’s street parking that locals know about), and the whole area is quiet enough that you’ll actually sleep well. The only minor thing – and this is really minor – is that some of the neighboring buildings are still under renovation, so if you’re sensitive to construction noise, maybe avoid weekday mornings. But honestly, with a 9.8 rating, they’re clearly doing something right, and after staying there, I get why people keep coming back to this particular spot rather than the dozen other places trying to do the same thing in Kazimierz.

  Przemiłe nowe mieszkanie w cichej dzielnicy. W mieszkaniu jest dosłownie wszystko – wyposażona kuchnia i łazienka, jest nawet blender, żelazko, pralka, zmywarka. Od dworca kolejowego 3 przystanki. Blisko przystanek pociagu SKA, którym łatwo dojechać na lotnisko. Na parterze jest Żabka, która też czynna w niedzielę. Balkon w ciszy z widokiem na kwiaty i zieleń. Na pewno tu wrócimy!
