The apartments are actually *large* – and I mean properly spacious, not the usual European “large” that means you can open your suitcase without hitting the bed. When they say large apartments here, they mean it, which honestly makes sense given the location wedged perfectly between Market Square and Kazimierz.

The thing about staying here is you’re sort of in this sweet spot where you can stumble back from the Main Square after a night out (it’s maybe a 3-minute walk, if that), but you’re also close enough to Kazimierz that you can easily wander over for dinner at one of those incredible Jewish quarter restaurants without needing trams or taxis. I actually found myself doing this weird routine where I’d grab coffee near the Cloth Hall in the morning, then drift back toward Kazimierz for lunch – the apartment felt like this perfect home base between both worlds. The building itself has that renovated historic feel without being stuffy about it, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward (no awkward key handoffs in random parking lots like some apartment rentals).

What really sold me on the place was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so central. I mean, you’ll hear some street noise during the day – it’s downtown Krakow, not a monastery – but evenings are surprisingly peaceful. The apartments come with proper kitchens too, which became essential when I realized how incredible the local markets are. There’s something satisfying about picking up fresh bread and those amazing Polish pastries, then actually having counter space and decent appliances to work with. The 8.9 rating makes total sense when you factor in the space, location, and that slightly-better-than-expected feeling you get when everything just works smoothly. Honestly, for the price point and that four-star experience, you’re getting way more apartment than you’d expect this close to all the main action.
