The apartments themselves have this really thoughtful setup where everything actually works the way you’d want it to in your own place. The jacuzzis (yeah, they really deliver on that promise) aren’t those tiny hotel tubs that barely fit one person – these are proper soaking tubs where you can actually stretch out after a long day of sightseeing. I spent way more time than I care to admit just lounging in there with a glass of wine, watching the steam fog up the windows. The kitchenettes are surprisingly well-equipped too, not just the usual mini-fridge and sad coffee maker situation. I’m talking full-size appliances, decent cookware, even proper wine glasses – little touches that show someone actually thought about how people really travel these days.

What really sold me on the place though was how quiet it gets at night. I’m usually that person who packs earplugs and a white noise app, but I didn’t need any of that here. The building has this solid, old-world feel to it, thick walls that actually keep the city sounds where they belong – outside. Parking was surprisingly hassle-free too, which if you’ve ever tried to navigate European city centers with a rental car, you know that’s basically worth its weight in gold. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, none of that awkward lobby waiting around while they “prepare your room” – your apartment key was ready, directions were clear, and you’re basically set to live like a local from minute one. I actually extended my stay by two nights because, well, when you find a place that just works this well, why mess with a good thing?
