Jordan Pokoje Gościnne Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Jordan Pokoje Gościnne on Długa Street, you immediately know you’ve hit the jackpot location-wise. I mean, you’re literally steps away from the Main Market Square — I could hear the horse carriages clopping by from my window. This three-star guesthouse sits in one of those beautiful old buildings that makes Krakow‘s Old Town so special, and honestly, the location alone justifies staying here. The entrance is modest but clean, which pretty much sets the tone for the whole place.
The Heart of Old Town
You know what’s amazing about this spot? You can stumble out of bed and be at St. Mary’s Basilica in about two minutes flat. I watched couples wandering hand-in-hand to the square for sunrise photos — no wonder they rate the location so highly for romantic trips. The narrow cobblestone streets around here are lined with cafes and shops, but somehow Długa Street itself stays relatively quiet at night. You’re close enough to everything that matters, but you can actually get some sleep.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was simple but thoughtfully arranged — clean white walls, decent-sized windows, and everything you actually need without unnecessary frills. The bed was comfortable enough, and I appreciated having a small table where I could spread out my maps and plan the day. The bathroom was compact but functional, with good water pressure (which honestly matters more than fancy toiletries). It’s not going to win any design awards, but it felt like a proper place to rest after walking around the city all day.
Morning Fuel
Breakfast here is actually pretty solid for a guesthouse this size. They offer continental options alongside a full English spread, plus there’s a buffet setup that changes slightly each day. I found myself going back for seconds of their scrambled eggs — they do them just right, not too dry. The coffee’s decent too, though if you’re particular about your morning brew, there are some excellent cafes literally around the corner. The breakfast room gets good morning light, which makes for a pleasant start to the day.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Jordan Pokoje Gościnne isn’t trying to be something it’s not — it’s a straightforward, well-located place to sleep in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. The staff genuinely seems to care about helping guests navigate Krakow, and I got some great restaurant recommendations that I never would have found otherwise. For the price point and that incredible location score, you’re getting exactly what you need: a clean, comfortable base for exploring the city. Sometimes that’s honestly all you want, especially when the Main Market Square is your backyard. This guesthouse offers excellent value for travelers seeking authentic Old Town experiences without breaking the bank.

We booked this hotel mainly due to it's location. Close to the bus station, the train station and the old town. All very close. The room was a little small, but it was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast room was very quirkily good
