I almost walked right past K12 Apartments the first time I was looking for it – it’s one of those places that doesn’t scream “hotel” from the street, which honestly turned out to be part of its charm. The whole setup feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed apartment building than your typical tourist trap, and after a few nights there, I mean that in the best possible way.

The rooms themselves are surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect from a 3-star place. I had this corner unit that actually felt like a proper apartment – full kitchen that wasn’t just for show (the stovetop actually works well, though the oven runs a bit hot), decent-sized living area where you could actually spread out your stuff without tripping over suitcases. The furniture’s not going to win any design awards, but it’s comfortable and functional, sort of that modern-minimalist-meets-practical vibe. What really got me was how quiet it stays at night – you’d think with apartments all around you’d hear every conversation and TV show, but the walls are surprisingly solid. I’m usually pretty sensitive to noise when I’m traveling, and I slept better there than I have at some fancier places.

Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no hovering concierge trying to upsell you on tours or restaurant recommendations you didn’t ask for. The staff knows what they’re doing without being overly formal about it, which fits the whole low-key apartment feel. Parking’s actually not terrible either, though you’ll want to ask about it when you book since it’s not automatic. The neighborhood itself grows on you – it’s got that lived-in feel where you see the same coffee shop regular every morning and the corner market guy starts recognizing you by day three. Nothing fancy, but real in a way that a lot of hotel districts just aren’t. The 8.1 rating makes sense to me because while it won’t blow you away with luxury touches, it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. If you’re the type who values having your own space and doesn’t need someone fluffing your pillows twice a day, this place hits that sweet spot between comfort and authenticity that’s honestly harder to find than you’d think.

  All check-in information was provided by email for a fast and seamless process. This allowed us to leave our luggage in the room and start exploring the city immediately.

  The apartment is across a Tram station which is very easy to use it and be transferred around the city. The apartment was very warm and cozy. Never felt cold during the night, even though the weather was cold.

  The studio 19/3 is really nice. Enough space to move around, kitchenette is quite all right (small fridge, kettle, microwave, stove, toaster..+ coffee and tea). Air conditioning was working fine.. so actually no complaints for the room. The location os good, not far from cafes and coffee shops and you can walk to the city center in 20 min.
  We also rented another studio in the same place, but the other room is much smaller. So if you doubt what to choose and need to work from the room or smth like that, choose 19/3.
  I also mentioned in the other review that you access the property with codes. I absolutely loved the option! No need to get keys, find reception etc.

  We had a really good stay in K12 apartments.
  the room 19/1 was a bit too small, but if you don't plan to sit there all day – it's more than enough. I really loved that you don't need a key to the apartment, there are codes on the doors. So if me or my partner had to go on our own somewhere, we didn't have the burden of sharing 1 key.
  The room has all that one usually needs from the room: small fridge, kettle, small stove, cutlery ..
  We had a shower gel / soap in the bathroom.
  It was very hot in the city, but the conditioner in the room made our stay really comfy.
  Location is great: a lot of cozy cafes, places to eat. Old town is 20 min walk from the K12
