You’ve got a proper kitchenette, which comes in handy when you discover the incredible produce at the Saturday farmers market just around the corner on Plac Wolnica. The check-in was straightforward too – none of that awkward hunting around for a reception desk that doesn’t exist.

But honestly, the location is what makes this place special. You’re a five-minute walk from Szeroka Street with all its synagogues and that haunting Jewish history, but you’re also stumbling distance from some of the best nightlife in the city. I’m talking about places like Alchemia, where locals actually hang out, not just tour groups. And here’s something most people don’t realize – you can walk to the main square in about fifteen minutes, but it’s through these quiet residential streets where you see how Krakow people actually live. Plus, parking around here is actually possible (unlike in the main Old Town where you’ll spend half your vacation looking for a spot). The 8.6 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not luxury, it delivers exactly what it promises. You get authentic Krakow neighborhood living with the convenience of being central, and honestly, after spending days exploring castles and churches, coming back to a place that feels like home rather than a hotel room is pretty perfect.

  Great location, shops and restaurants 5 minutes away. I used Uber rather than public transport as l use a walking cane they were very cheap. Lovely apartment large and clean lots of hot water for shower.. l would definitely stay there again
