Kazimierz Old Town Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Kazimierz Old Town Apartments on Starowiślna Street, you immediately sense you’ve found something special. The building sits right in the thick of Kraków’s Old Town — I mean, you’re literally surrounded by centuries-old architecture and cobblestone streets that tourists dream about. This three-star property doesn’t try to be flashy, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about the way it blends into the historic neighborhood while offering modern comfort inside.
Location & Neighborhood
Honestly, the location here is pretty much unbeatable. You’re a few minutes’ walk from the Main Market Square, which means you can grab your morning coffee and watch the city wake up without dealing with the tourist crowds that arrive later. The Kazimierz district — the old Jewish quarter — is right at your doorstep, and that’s where you’ll find some of the best restaurants and bars in the city. I love that couples especially appreciate this spot (they rate it 9.2), and you know what, I get it — there’s something romantic about stepping out your door and being surrounded by all that history.
The Apartments
These aren’t your typical hotel rooms — they’re actual apartments with kitchenettes, which makes a huge difference when you’re staying more than a night or two. The spaces feel lived-in rather than sterile, with thoughtful touches that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. You’ll have enough space to spread out your stuff (finally!), and the kitchens are well-equipped enough that you can prepare simple meals with ingredients from the nearby markets. The decor strikes a nice balance between contemporary comfort and nods to the building’s character.
Exploring from Here
What I really appreciate is how easy it is to explore Kraków from this base. The Cloth Hall and St. Mary’s Basilica are practically around the corner, but you’re also perfectly positioned to discover the lesser-known gems that most tourists miss. Wander down toward the Vistula River for evening walks, or head deeper into Kazimierz to find those hidden courtyards and local hangouts. The tram connections are solid too, so getting to places like Nowa Huta or even day trips to Wieliczka Salt Mine becomes straightforward. There’s also convenient parking available nearby if you’re traveling by car.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.9 rating really reflects what you experience here — it’s that sweet spot where location, comfort, and value align perfectly. You’re not paying five-star prices, but you’re getting something arguably more valuable: an authentic base in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. The apartment-style setup means you can live a bit like a local rather than just passing through, and honestly, that makes all the difference when you’re trying to really experience a place rather than just check it off a list. This property delivers genuine character and hospitality.

Reviews of Kazimierz Old Town Apartments

The location is good, there is a train and tram station nearby. We requested and get to checked in earlier at 12pm. The apartment is also clean, and equipped with dishwasher and washing machine.

Clean and spacious apartment.
Location in-between old town and kazimierz.Pham from Vietnam (9/10)
Coffee machine was nice , but need refill coffee with standard 1 per pax par day.

Room: The room was spacious. Everything was clean. had a TV, one king-size bed, and one single bed. The air conditioning (AC) was working very nicely. The WIFI working speed was enough to make calls and receive video calls (or online surfing or online meetings).
Kitchen: As this is an apartment, therefore the kitchen is attached to the main room. The kitchen has pans, cutleries, coffee machine (there were enough coffee machine capsules for our 4-day stay). We cook small meals (especially breakfast such as toasting bread and eating eggs). The fridge (appears to be 215 liters), along with the freezer would be nice to bring drinks and chill them before drinking (ZabkaStore 50m)
Location: It is at a prime location. The airport bus drops nearly 1.6 KM away (I took 300 bus routes and took a 60-minute pass as another option (say example, a 20-minute pass, is not enough). Tip: Please activate the ticket inside the bus (ticket machine inside the bus) just before the bus starts (at the airport) as the bus could take rest time before going back to the city (sometimes 10-20 mins, which means you lose those 10-20 mins from your 60 mins) ). but there are enough tram lines that would assist in reaching this property from where you get deboarded from the bus (if deboarded at Muzeum Narodowe then Tram line 1; if deboarded at Rondo Grunwaldzkie then Tram line 22, 18 and 52). There are few bars and enough restaurants nearby. We had a chance to watch a football match in the bar nearby (and it was fun). The location is quite lively at night at least in summer (as I was traveling in June).
Old Town: nearly 8-10 mins (by foot) to Old Town Square and nearly 12 mins (by foot) to Wawel Castl. However for Auschwitz concentration camps we took Flixbus which can be booked online and can be boarded at Krakow Glowny (we got it from the "D" stop which is located underground in this station).Rob from Netherlands (9/10)
Clean and spacious apartment with comfortable beds and good facilities. Located conveniently close to a train and tram station between the centre of Kraków and the Jewish neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants and coffee places around.

I like this place for location, purity and responsiveness of administration. Here are details. Firstly, thanks to administaration for earlier check-in, because we have been traveling with small child. They allowed to check-in at 11 o'clock in the mornig. Secondly, the room was very clean, especially bathroom, that's really important for me. The appartment is in the center of the city, so can visit all attractions by walk.
